Wingardium Leviosa is a first year spell, one Lily's had down for years now, simple levitation.

Still, it's good to practice the basics sometimes.

Which is why there's a small brown teapot (empty, of course) hovering about five feet above a table tonight.

And below it, a redheaded witch with her wand out, watching it slowly spin in the air.

"Oh, a great deal, lass. The levitation most of all, though."

He watches the teapot curiously. Such funny things humans practice with.

Well, it was handy.

"I guess it is a bit showy, isn't it?" she asks, cheerfully.

"I'm Lily Evans."

[sidhe_king]

"Finvarra," he returns, studying her in the same simple motion that tilts his head and bends his neck in a short, informal bow.

"Human, though, aye?"

"Human, English, 1975 A.D.," she says. "It's nice to meet you, Finvarra."

The teapot, directed by her wand, begins to descend to the tabletop in lazy figure eights.

"Sidhe, Irish, 2010 A.D.," he answers. "Pleasure, lass."

[lilium_evansiae]

"It still seems such an odd way to have to introduce yourself, doesn't it?" Lily says.

"To have to include the year?"
