The door slides open, briefly revealing the interior of the UNSC heavy cruiser Spark In Darkness. A Huragok floats idly through, and the door closes. As the creature approaches the Bar a note pops up.

Well, it was only a matter of time, really. Vergil floats over the Bar, dips down behind it, and comes up with a slate and several pieces of chalk.

I am called Vergil
I am a Huragok
I understand English, but communicate in sign language
And tonight I am tending the Bar.

It's probably a good thing D0G doesn't have olfactory sensors. Thrilled as Vergil is at having made D0G's life better, the poor Huragok can't help but accidentally expel some of the gases that keep it afloat at that, and they aren't the sort humans like to breathe in.

But that's okay. This is D0G. Anything D0G does is okay by Vergil.

D0G breaks off the hug and steps back. The Huragok can't see the signal light from that close up, after all.

That's a good question. Vergil is fine just enjoying the company, if that helps at all. Maybe after the Bar reactivates they can visit the garage and look for interesting parts, or something like that?

Hm. Well, Vergil could use some assistance when things get busy- sure. The Huragok twitters and scootches over and up to one side to allow D0G more room. There, now they can reach everything!

Mweep! says D0G cheerfully before vaulting over the countertop to join Vergil. He's never done this before! It'll be fun!

Oh yes! And educational. Vergil figures the best thing to do is help D0G through the process of preparing each one of the drinks during a lull. That way they both know who's best at which set of tasks before it becomes critical, and they both stand a good chance of learning something. That's always good, right?

(Even if it results in a lot of broken glass and spilt liquor on D0G's part.)
