Dixie's just a little perplexed as she enters the bar. She HAD been in the middle of seducing a member of Bly's gang as a favor to Brisco. On a riverboat, with champagne, while holding a derringer under her skirts.

Her shoulder slump and she gives the bar a roll "You sure do love to surprise a gal," she mutters, heading behind the bar, her violet petticoats rustling. "Next time, why don't you throw a fella into the mix?"

"What kind of fancy were you thinkin' about?"

"I make a terrific crown roast," she declares. "And about a thousand chicken dishes. I'm no queen of the range, but I could give you the basics and let you build with them."

He blushes and looks down,

"Thank you but that still don't mean I won't burn things."

She chuckles. "Everyone burns when they begin cooking. Why, I nearly burnt down a whole kitchen my first time." Her voice is wry. "I think Bar will stop us from doing something terribly foolish."
