There aren't a lot of sunny days left at Milliways before the Scottish winter moves in and settles in place hard. Still, there are a few left and Janet van Dyne is taking advantage of one to recover from her latest round of 'Quinjets for non-pilots' with a walk around the lake.
Maybe later she will go for a fly or put in some target practice at the range, but for now a calm walk is just what the doctor ordered.
[OOC: This is intended for the Sensational She-Hulk, but all are welcome. Open forever!]

"Isn't that a little cold?"
Probably not if you manage to stay out of the breeze, but still.

Hank would, given the chance, probably live on takeout and things you can cook with a Bunsen burner. Some people just need minders.

"So does your world have an Avengers or what?"

She says this with a grin but there's the hint of tears in her eyes if you look closely.

"Don't worry about me just starting up, it sounds like a lot of the other Avengers, Avengerses - I need a different word for a group of teams with the same name - anyway they seem to have started before we did. So who knows what else might have changed?"

"Hey, Jan."

That can sometimes breathe fire. So Milliways rabbits.

One of Janet's earliest lines is, 'I can see my penthouse from here!' but Tony is comic book rich
Reason forty million I love Janet. And her source canon

"No green junk. Not yet anyway," she says then continues in a more thoughtful tone, "I'm going to have to talk to the some people I've met here who have version of me in their worlds and find out what kind of stuff happens to me, her, you know who I mean."

"Good," she replies, and then nods curiously. "Is it weird, having more than one of you hanging around and it's not some weird cloning accident?"

When she does see her, her mouth falls open.
She's speechless.
Skrull? Other form of shapeshifter? Or has Jan been exiled to Milliways for her death?
"Jan?"
no subject
"Do I know you?"

Jen again is speechless, and that's saying something since she talks for a living.
"...That's only a question you can answer. But I know you."
Alternate universe? A younger version of the Jan she knows who's discovered Milliways before meeting Jen? An amnesiac Jen? Skrull? Clone? The possibilities are endless.

Meaning super strength, invulnerability, and a host of other good things.
Jen smiles warmly - she'd loved her Jan as a close friend and can't help but feel goodwill towards any Jan she meets.
"And I'm guessing you're not from my universe. But in my universe, we were close friends. We were in the Avengers together. You designed every costume I ever wore, including this one."
The urge to hug this Jan is becoming stronger and stronger. But Jen restrains herself - she has no idea of this Jan's personality and receptiveness. Still, Jen's relieved that in at least one other universe, a Janet Van Dyne exists. Alive.

But hey she apparently rocks at it, which is always nice to hear.

"Some, but not too much about what Janet van Dyne has done in detail I think. Locking myself into decisions that someone with the same name made - that doesn't feel right. You know?"
no subject
Behind the smile are tears, something Jen rarely allows herself with her naturally bubbly and optimistic personality. But there's been too much death lately - she lost Jan, she might lose Johnny, she almost lost Bruce too many times.
"Can I buy you a drink, Jan? Or do you prefer Janet?"

"Incomprehensible, huh? I'm not sure anyone can think like Tony. I can fly the Quinjet, you know. I'm good at it. To the bar for libations, Lady Jan?"
