There aren't a lot of sunny days left at Milliways before the Scottish winter moves in and settles in place hard. Still, there are a few left and Janet van Dyne is taking advantage of one to recover from her latest round of 'Quinjets for non-pilots' with a walk around the lake.

Maybe later she will go for a fly or put in some target practice at the range, but for now a calm walk is just what the doctor ordered.

[OOC: This is intended for the Sensational She-Hulk, but all are welcome. Open forever!]

Val nearly face palms but does shake her head. "I don't know how many times I've had to bring Dad or Reed real food. I remember once Reed, well the Reed I knew, was on this artificial food and supplements kick and wouldn't eat anything that wasn't a pill. It was disturbing!"

"We sure do, though in my natural timeline they keep the solar system safe not just Earth. I was hoping that when I was old enough I'd be asked to join in fact."

"Oh! I'm sorry," Val says. "I can understand though. When I accidentally moved myself out of my reality and ended up in what I had thought was my past, my older brother was suddenly ten and no one knew who I was. My mom didn't even believe me when I said I was her daughter."

She says this with a grin but there's the hint of tears in her eyes if you look closely.

"Alternate realities and time travel is hard on grammar," Val quips. "It's the first thing you learn."

Val thinks for a bit as there a lots of answers; not to step on anything, don't drink the water...Finally she says, "I'd say learning to listen and catch the differences. That's how you'll know you're in one in the first place."
