Two Men in Black come walking through the Door, and for once it's the taller one who looks cranky:

"Another one? What do you mean, 'They made another one?'"

"Like I said," the rounder one growls. "They made another one."

"It's been ten years! How the hell could they make another one?"

"Easy. They piled up a stack of cold, hard cash, and threw it at everybody in sight."

"Huh," K ponders. "Did they get everyone back?"

Zed shrugs. "Everybody who matters."

"Those two are even older than we are! Are you telling me they built a movie around those two gray-haired--."

"--Balding--."

"--Wheezing, decrepit--. Hell, my guy's got to be older than dirt by now."

Zed gives K a long look. "Let me buy ya a drink. Then I got to tell you something...."

Daniel continued to watch and listen this might be interesting.

"You should talk," the tall guy growls back. "I've been on planets younger than you."

The rounder guy puffs up. "That, my friend, is pure envy. I am getting more august and grander with every passing year."

"Getting more something," the tall guy mutters as he finally does throw back his drink.

Daniel laughed into his drink....

"Hey," the round one calls over to Daniel, "Hey, buddy, you got a second?"

"Got a question: how ancient do you think my friend here is?"

The tall one is pinching the bridge of his nose. "Another one, Darlin', if you please."

Bar immediately provides another drink for the tall guy.

"Depends," said Daniel, "Is he Human?"

"He thinks so," the round guy chuckles.

"Har-di-har," the tall guy glares back.

"He's not Jaffa is he?" asked Daniel.

The round one roars with laughter, while the tall one looks like he might have sprayed his drink if he was capable of such a thing.

"Not hardly," the tall one snarls.

"I dunno," the round one muses with another smirk. "Maybe we oughta check you for a pouch...."

"Shaddup."

"You know about Jaffa?" asked Daniel curiously.

K nods. "We've got a file somewhere."

"Mission briefing 36B epsilon tau comma 362 beta," Zed clarifies absent-mindedly. "Third drawer down.

"Wait so there really is an MiB?"

"Hell, yes," K replies. "In some universes, anyway."

"Others get only a fictional one," Zed adds. "Their loss."

"Huh," said Daniel, "It's usually the military in regular clothes that have to deal with alien stuff on my Earth."

Try being on SG1

"Well, whoever's got the job, it's always a pain in the ass."

'You're telling me," said Daniel sipping a little more.

Consequently he is wearing his old fashioned fatigues with the SG1 patch on it.

K leans to one side to get a good look at the patch, then straightens back up with a curious look.

"You actually one of those Stargate gents?"

"Stargate what's that?" asked Daniel sarcastically.

K smirks. "Next time you're gating out somewhere, see if you can get to Proxima XIV. Get yourself to the southern tip of the main continent. The capital city, you can't miss it. There's a guy there by the east gate. Best donuts you ever had."

"They're green, and you'll need to breathe liquid nitro for about three days after, but trust me, they're worth it."

Daniel smirked, "Know the address?"

"Darlin'?" K asks Bar, who responds with a napkin and pen. K scribbles some numbers on the napkin and hands it over.

"Make sure you take the second left. The third left is the Grand Potentate's driveway, and the guy has no love for visitors. Likes to shoot first. With a plasma cannon."

Daniel laughed, "Thanks, know the gate adress. It might be kinda hard to get there by ship. We have some good ones these days but it's still easier to take the gate."

That is if he ever gets back to earth.

"Oh, right," K nods. "Let's see...."

"Here, gimme," Zed rumbles.

The chief takes the napkin back, and draws out a slim, jet black device from the inside pocket of his Suit. He flips it open, revealing a small but complex control panel. He taps a couple of buttons, and a moment later, a holographic display appears right above it. Zed does some serious number crunching, then scribbles some more stuff on the napkin and hands it back to Daniel. "Here. Been a while, but that oughta do it."

K nods, impressed.

Zed shrugs and throws back the rest of his drink. "Like riding a goddamn bike."

Daniel takes the napkin and carefully puts it in his pocket.

"I'll put it somewhere safe," said Daniel "Just in case we get out of our situation alive."

"That's usually the way it works, yeah."

"Hell, if you can make it to the end of the day without a part shot off and not covered in slime, then I say that's a win."

Daniel laughed.

"Well," said Daniel putting his hands on the Bar's surface, "I've been stuck on a ship in a time dilation bubble for the last six months. All the while wondering when the Ori weapon's fire is going to finally hit us. Sam's working on a way to keep us from all dying, but so far she's got nothing."

He downed his drink.

"It could take years."
