Rory walks into the bar, looking a little tired but glad.
Classes were back in and they were going decently so far.
Now if there was someone here who would buy her a sorely needed drink.

She smiles and thinks for a minute.
" All of Europe was entertaining but the most interesting place, I must say was Prague. Beautiful city and very traditional yet so very diverse at the same time. "
(ooc: mun is using own experience here which would be why she's not mentioning Paris or any other well-known European city....may throw in Vienna if it gets mentioned. )

"Did some counter espionage work there during the War and spent a night in lock-up. I still remember the ridiculous bureaucracy at the Ministries when I was trying to file the release form. Damned Form 27-B." Indy still fumes a little at the recollection.
"I met Franz Kafka there you know? He was working at the Ministry of Insurance at the time. He helped me get all the paperwork done. Shit, without him I'd probably still be there."

" You met Kafka? "
She shakes her head, still trying to wrap that idea.
" The beaucracies not changed much but well, that would be Czech for you. "

"Um... let's see... Puccini, Theodore Roosevelt, Ned Lawrence, Howard Carter, Tolstoy, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle... all before I was 15."

" That is not fair..."

"I'd rather have been playing ball or hanging out with my friends to be honest. But dad had his work... and I had my nanny. I guess looking back, I wouldn't trade in those experiences for the world. But at the time... it sucked."

He smiles to show he wasn't inferring anything bad about himself. "You know I'll be good to her right?"

A mock evil eye.
" Because if you don't...a world of hurt is heading your way. I have connections."

She waves off the other question, it didn't need an answer.
" How should I know? I'm twenty and full of life."

"I'm 38 and I don't regret a thing... and that reminds me..." He looks down, apprently searching for something around his stool. "Now where did I leave my cane?"
