Tara comes downstairs and goes over to the bar, sitting at one end.

"Could I get a cup of tea with milk and sugar please, sweetness?"

The tea arrives and she sips it, glancing around the bar. She kind of wants to talk to Isabel again, and is torn between wanting to talk to Warren and wanting to leave the poor boy alone.

She smiles. "Everyone deserves a second chance, Jonathan. Who am I to take his away?"

Jonathan nods. "Still. Not everybody'd see it that way. So, thanks."

"No problem. Hey, do you want some tea?"

He smiles.

"That'd be nice."

She smiles at the bar. "Sweetness, can I get a pot of tea and another cup, please?"

And they appear. Jonathan pours out a cup for himself, with a quick pat for the Bar, and turns back to Tara.

"Thanks."

She refills her cup and smiles.

"How've you been, here? And how long? I've only been here about a week, I think. I kind of lost track of time."

"I've been okay. And it's been a couple of months now - but I... died quite a few months after you did."

She nods. "Someone told me time was a bit weird here. Regulus is from twenty years ago, and there're people from the future, so..." she shrugs, smiling helplessly. "What can you do except accept it?"

"Time moves strangely here, too, it's not just the thing about when people come from. It's hard to keep track."

"I noticed that, yeah. Seems like a whole day or two just vanished on me recently."

Jonathan nods his agreement. "And I think time passes different in the rooms than down here. I can be up there for what feels like hours, and Andrew says he hasn't seen me for days."

"Yeah, I get that. Makes things interesting, at least."

She sips her tea. "How is Andrew, anyway? I know about Warren and you - a bit, anyway - but I haven't met him here yet."

Jonathan drinks tea and works up a severely edited version of the truth.

"Andrew's okay. After I died, he ended up with Buffy and her people."

"Really? Wow. That's... interesting. But good! I hope things worked out for him."

"I think he's good. Have you met Meg?"

"No, I haven't, but I think I've heard of her. She's a blonde dancer, right?"

"Yeah. And Andrew's girlfriend."

She blinks for a moment, because weren't the Troika all...? But nevermind, apparently Andrew has a girlfriend.

"Oh, that's so good for him."

Note to self: if you meet Meg, she is straight and taken.

There would be tea-sprayage if Jonathan could hear Tara's thoughts. Fortunately, he's not telepathic.

"Yeah, he's pretty happy."

Except the whole bug thing, and the duels, and... anyway.

"I'm glad for him."

She finishes her tea and smiles at Jonathan.

"I'm going to take a walk, I think, but when I see Warren, I'll tell him what I said. It was nice to see you as well."

He nods, smiling back.

"I'll see you round, I guess."

"I hope so."

And she heads outside.
