*It's been a while.

Jack Sparrow -- that's Captain Jack Sparrow -- strolls in, grinning wickedly, and heads straight for the bar.*

Rum, luv, if you'd be so kind.

*A bottle and a glass appear instantly, and Jack pats the bar approvingly.*

You're a treasure and no mistake, luv. A treasure indeed.

"Mmmm, yes..."

He doesn't quite purr, but it's closer to it than he's been lately.

"I must say, however, my dear Jack, you have been missed."

"Is it?"

Frankie doesn't do innocence very well, but when he's... well, call it plain-clothes, it's a bit easier.

"Whatever makes you say that, my dear pirate?"

"And is it a pirate, or a gentleman, who doesn't kiss and tell, my dear?"

He smirks, lighting up a cigarette, and leaving the unlabelled pack on the bar, should Jack want one.

"Not that it's entirely applicable in either case, I suppose."

"Does this mean you'll tell me then, if I ask nicely?"

Frankie does not bat his eyelashes at Jack, because that lacks class. And whatever else he is or is not, he prefers to have class when he may.

He chuckles, and pours more rum into both glasses. Lifting his, and clinking it against Jack's in what may or may not be a toast, he replies in kind.

"Transvestite."

And he grins right back.

He laughs. "Well, I should think I get along just well here, too, my friend."

Frankie drinks as well, still grinning.

"Is Singapore so interesting as all that, then?"

He grins wickedly, feeling better perhaps, and rebelliously Does Not Drink.

"Please, Jack, do tell me a story. I'm all ears."

"Not the one on Earth, at least." He smirks at Jack, amused.

He takes a moment to sip at his rum, then raises an eyebrow as he lowers the glass. "What sort of tale would you like to tell? I'm really... quite open about these things, you know."

[identity profile] frankie-frankie.livejournal.com 2005-01-17 06:13 am (UTC)(link)
"Afraid not, my dear, on either one. Please, do go on."

He grins, and tops up Jack's glass.

Frankie laughs. "Oh, but of course, my dear Jack. And I'm sure I can see why they must have been."

Still smirking a little, he finishes off his glass of rum, and refills both it and Jack's once more.

"And you've impersonated a priest as well, have you?"

[identity profile] frankie-frankie.livejournal.com 2005-01-17 07:26 am (UTC)(link)
Frankie looks at him, a faint smile still playing around the corners of his mouth.

"I'm afraid that none of my stories paint me in a particularly flattering light, my dear."

[identity profile] frankie-frankie.livejournal.com 2005-01-17 07:35 am (UTC)(link)
He chuckles softly. "Perhaps next time I see you, my dear Jack, I shall have a story to tell you."

[identity profile] frankie-frankie.livejournal.com 2005-01-17 07:47 am (UTC)(link)
"But of course, my dear. Wouldn't miss it for the world." He smirks, also standing. He hesitates for the briefest of moments, watching Jack with an odd expression on his face, before shrugging a little, finishing his second glass of rum, and setting the empty on the bar.

"My thanks, of course, for the rum and the story, Jack."
