*A bottle and a glass appear instantly, and Jack pats the bar approvingly.*

"True, true. I concede." She smiles, and takes a drink in honor.

*He grins and lifts his own glass. Somehow Jack gets the feeling it's hard to win anything with this clever lass.*

Any interesting news with you, luv?

Ame shrugs. "Not overmuch, no. Odd, really. I've been halfheartedly trying to get here for a few weeks, and today I do. And without my pen, as well."

[pirate_jack]

*Jack grins brightly at her.*

Glad you did, lass, or I'd have missed seeing you, savvy?

*He lifts the glass in silent toast to her, and drinks.*

"And I you, and it would have been greatly tragic." She lifts her glass as well, smiling.

A moment later, she cocks her head slightly. "You're in the Caribbean mostly, right?"

Mostly, lass, although I do move around a bit.

*Jack quirks an curious eyebrow at her.*

She smiles. "You're lucky, then. I envy you your warmth."

*Jack nods.*

It's entirely too cold outside here, savvy? I don't like winter.

*He shivers elaborately, and hastily takes another drink of rum.*

"I completely concur. Although -- it's the slush, really, that I dislike the most. It serves no purpose whatsoever."

Ame scowls slightly.

*Jack grins at her.*

We never did try to get you to the Caribbean, luv. Much nicer there right now, savvy?

"In all honesty? It's much nicer wherever it's warm."

Would you like to come along to the Pearl with me, luv?

*Jack is still grinning, and looks thoroughly amused.*

Ame smiles quickly, then blinks slowly. "Really?"

Of course. *Jack grins at her.*

Ame is quietly surprised for a few moments, then grins back.

"Why thank you, Captain Jack. You are too. Definitely, if I can get there."

*He grins wickedly at her.*

She grins back -- not quite as wickedly, as she is not as Accomplished yet -- and starts to say yes before suddenly frowning.

"I'd love to, actually, but -- another time? Perhaps when I'm not in what I regret to confess are half of my pajamas?"

*Jack looks wickedly amused at this.*

Absolutely, luv. Another time, then. I'll look for you, savvy?

*He gives her an elaborate bow and a kiss on the hand, and strolls off, whistling.*
