Now appearing in a bar near you, for a limited time only, it's Lorelai!

Feeling especially dramatic today, she wanders over to the bar dramatically and orders a very dramatic martini. You ask yourself how this is different from any other day and she simply smiles. Come talk to her. You know you thinks she's cute.

*She is her own, but yes, it's true she is Indy's girlfriend. But she's still very cute!*

She smiles and takes a sip of her martini. "Hi. I'm Lorelai."

*same difference really. People in relationships belong to each other.*

Sir Timothy Hunter at your service.

She gestures at the empty barstool beside her.

"And what service might that be?"

*he takes a seat.*

Bar security actually.

"Hmm, like a bouncer?" She smiles. "Must be an interesting job to have in this Bar particularly."

Exactly. But few people take me seriously when i say I'm a bouncer.

*He winks.*

She laughs mischievously and sips her martini again.

"I'm not like most people. So where're you from?"

Earth One.

*Said with a straight face.*

She wrinkles her nose. "There are more than one?" And as an afterthought she adds, "What time period?"

*A faint grin.*

Many more then one. 2004.

"Hmm. I'm from Earth, too. The, uh, one with Connecticut. 2005."

Really? london here. does your earth have superheros?

*Meg waves cheerfully to Lorelei.*

Lorelai waves her over fondly. She hasn't seen Meg in awhile.

"How have you been lately, Meg?"

*Meg grins, slightly evasively.* Oh, you know, this and that - so I hear you and Indy are sort of a thingamajig now?

She nods, smiling. "It's all happened pretty quickly, but I'm enjoying it."

He's a nice fellow - sort of my adopted uncle. *Meg grins.* How long has it been going, then? A couple weeks, right?

"Something like that. In my world it has definitely been two weeks." She sips her martini.

"He speaks very highly of you. He said you're probably the only person who drinks more coffee than me."

In Lorelai's book that is a compliment of the highest order.

*In Meg's as well. She beams.*

I live off of coffee. And now I have this nifty magical always-refilling mug that I got for Christmas so I'll never run out!

Could Lorelai look anymore excited? Perhaps only if she owned a magically-refilling coffee cup.

"I've only gotten a magical smashy stick," she coos. "But that is sooo much better."

*Meg looks interested.* Ooh, what kind of magical smashy does the magical smashy stick do? Just, you know, generic hitting people?

"It emits blue sparks." She shrugs. "I'm pretty sure it's just for smashing people, but I haven't really had an opportunity to try it out."

She sips her martini and then rushes on, "Not that there is anyone here I want to smash." She looks worriedly around the bar. She's following the Rules, she wants everyone to know that.

Blue sparks are pretty, *Meg opines cheerfully.* And even if there's no one here you want to smash, there's always smashing to be done at home! Who gave it to you?

"Monkey." She says, but then adds, "The large Buddhist one.

And it is for home-use, but I leave it in Indy's room, because that seems more practical. He wants to take it somewhere and try it out sometime. I'm not quite sure what he means by that."

She smiles teasingly.
