William loves the Milliways' stables as they're big, most of the horses are friendly and he can always finds some space to himself. Their barn at home does what it needs to and he has a spot for hiding stuff in it, but his responsibilities are more there.

Today he's taken care of a few chores around the barn and has been introducing himself to a beautiful mare that recently arrived. Horus is exploring and William's not too concerned about him as the forge cats keeps an eye on him when they're here.

Once he's done checking on all the horses, he plans on sitting on the back porch of the Bar with a book and enjoying it feeling like Spring.

"Yeah, they do and you'll find a way back."

"One would hope so," Teja says, "but if not, and this is the price I pay for sending my animals and my friends to safety, so be it."

"I hope it ain't. My Pa got back, it was only two days out on their side of the door so he wasn't goin' to fade yet."

"That is good to hear," Teja says. "I hope to see my people again before little Hilde grows too tall, Rauthgundis marries, or the twins talk."

"I'm sure it won't be that long."

[ostro_goth]

"Thank you," Teja says, quietly. "But I can live with it, if it is that long, or longer, or forever. I was honoured to share part of their lives again; I would not ask too much."

And all the horses were alive again. And all his friends in this place, alive and well.

What else could he ask for?

Some things, actually; but being Teja, he never will ask them.

"Yeah, nice to just have what there is and hope things keep goin' well as long as doin' what you can to keep 'em that way. I do hope you get a door as I was goin' to bring a hat back for Athalwin,"

He'd like to do that if he can as he enjoyed Gotland.

A small smile appears on Teja's face.

"If that is so, then I shall have to look everywhere again, and ask more questions," he says.

"I'll keep lookin' too as never know where somethin' might end up."

"Thank you," Teja says.
