Lilly's been in and out of bar more often recently than she has in... well. Her personal clock is very timey-wimey these days.
Still, if she's going to be spending more time here, she needs a room again. So she's perched on a bar stool, discussing accommodations with Bar.
"Okay, what have you got in tasteful yet luxurious suites? And just so you know, the hot tub is not optional."

Her eyes do not get particularly wide.
But it does not take her very long to make her way across the bar, pausing a few steps away from Lilly.
"Lilly."
Beat.
"You are okay?"
Hey, it's a practical question to ask. Somewhat.
And as icebreakers go, it's served X well so far.

Lilly practically bounces off of her stool.
"God, I totally missed you. There are very few people in the multiverse with your monosyllabic charm and taste in stompy boots, you know?"
It occurs to her that X asked her a question.
"Oh yeah, I'm good. How are you? What have I missed? Other than, um, everything?"
no subject
That is the first and most important thing.
"I have been busy. Here. And at home."
This also seems like it might be relevant, if very non-specific.
As for the third thing --
"Okay has two syllables. Busy, too."
In case Lilly was wondering.

"Come, sit! I owe you a tequila shot. It's a thing I'm doing now so that people associate me with boozy good times. Have one and tell me what you've been so busy with."
no subject
Beat.
"Thank you."
That being said, X actually closes the space between them and sits down.
In this light, from Lilly's particular angle, it might almost look like X is smiling, too.
Just for a second.

"Bar, can I get a root beer float for the lady, with a slice of lime on the side?"
Purely for decoration, but when Lilly commits to a theme, she commits.

"Raph!"
Lilly jumps off her stool and slugs him more or less affectionately on the arm.
"How badly have you missed me? You can tell me, and hey." She lays a hand on the arm she just punched and affects a concerned expression. "It's okay to cry. Don't hold it in."
no subject
"Ow. What the fuck, Lilly?"
That's Raph for Oh my dearest friend, how I've longed for your company.
no subject
"That was for whatever you did to deserve it while I was gone," Lilly informs him.
"Speaking of, what did you do while I was gone? I need updates here!"
no subject
"Uh...I dunno, the usual. Picking up some shifts here, gatherin' intel in back in Olau. Same ol' same ol'."
no subject
"Oh! That reminds me, I met this red-haired 'boy' out back the other day, so thanks for the warning about Alan and Alanna."
There is a brief flurry of tiny, stinging punches.
"The one I never got."

After the apocalypse, some of the guest rooms were replaced by the rooms listed in the brochure that just popped up for Lilly. Luxurious, yes. Tasteful? It depends on who is asking. It depends on the room too, probably.
"Bar, can you get me the usual rum and ," the redhead ordering takes some time to think, "some kind of seafood. Suprise me."
Tequila and fish tacos pop up.
"That's not rum," she says before ignoring the drink to poke at the tacos.
no subject
"I'm reintroducing people to the awesomeness of tequila and myself." She grins. "I'm Lilly Kane."
no subject
"Sarah Black," she says without taking her eyes off the food. "How am I supposed to eat this without making a mess?"
no subject
Wow. Apparently there are worlds without tacos or even like, foods wrapped in bread-y things. That is terrible.
no subject
There are foods wrapped in bread-y things! It just. Hard/crunchy shell!
Maybe the mess is part of the experience. So Sarah, or whoever the hell she is, lifts a taco and starts eating it. From the top, because that is the most logical way to eat these things, of course.
"MMM!"
After she's done chewing, "So, I already have an idea why tequila is awesome, so, why are you awesome?" Not at all snarky, mind you. Self-pride serves her purposes better than self-doubt, most of the time.

Lilly blinks at him.
"It may have actually been eons!" Probably not. "What've you been up to?"
Hopefully something exciting and non-tragic, but it's Milliways so she's not making any bets.
no subject
"And you? Do I really want to know?" And does she really mean eons? Around here, it's possible.

"Nothing too illegal, I promise! Mostly I was an excellent ambassador for fabulousness throughout the universes."
Mostly.
"Glad to hear things are good with you and Rapunzel. It's so nice to hear something other than 'oh, you were gone? allow me to catch you up on DOOM."
no subject
"So you do that whole walking through reality thing Rachel used to do. How do you manage that?"
