There's a new face in Milliways tonight.

A young female human, no longer a girl but not quite a woman, with sea-green eyes and dark wavy hair that cascades down past her waist. She's dressed in blue, black, and silver, with an ebony tiara on her head.

Those who watch her for any length of time will notice something... off about her. Maybe it's that her posture isn't quite right. Maybe it's the way her hair moves all by itself every now and then. Maybe it's those eyes that are a little too large and a little too deep.

A few, particularly those with a sense for the supernatural, may be able to see past her altogether to the equine moon-goddess hiding beneath the surface.

[ooc: Princess Luna is currently sporting an illusion spell to make her appear human--she's not actually shapeshifted. Pups who can sense magical or supernatural activity should be able to tell it's an illusion, and may even be able to see past it, at your discretion. Open until it scrolls.]

Cy has no sense for the supernatural. And has no reason to use the sensors that might detect an abnormal energy field. He just sees a rather awkward looking young woman.

"Hey."

The young woman nods at him. "Greetings."

What a terribly odd voice. Almost lyrical.

"You new here?"

[always_the_moon]

"Nay. We have visited this place many times ere now."

[says_the_booyah]

"Guess we never met." He'd remember that voice. And that speech pattern.

"I'm Cyborg. Nice to meetcha."

[always_the_moon]

"We are Pr... Luna," she says after a moment's hesitation. "And likewise."

[says_the_booyah]

"Nice name. Seems to fit you." He has no idea why. "Where are you from?"

Enzo catches a whiff of energy on the air. He has enough experience with these things by now to be pretty sure it's magic, though it doesn't bear a resemblance to any normal smell he could use to narrow it down. If someone managed to create an incense that smelled a little bit like horse but in a good way, it would smell like that.

He sniffs, turning in a circle, until he spots the odd young woman. Ah.

"Is that magic you?"

Blink. Blink.

"...perhaps?" says the young woman, taken aback. "It dependeth upon what thou mean'st by 'that magic.'"

[a1enzo]

"Well, I smell something magicky, and you... look kinda magicky." Shrug.

[always_the_moon]

"I do?" She looks a little alarmed at this.

[a1enzo]

"Yeah. Is that okay?"

[always_the_moon]

"No! We are meant to look human, humans are not magical!"

Most of the time, at least.

[gorgonfondness]

"Luna!"

Mia got the name right but she doesn't fully realize that. She just noticed her friend from a distance and couldn't contain her excitement.

"I had no idea you've found this place! Did you get the letter from Tempest and Fresca yet?"

It's about here that Mia gets close enough to realize that this is most certainly not the Luna she knows from home.

"Oh, oh I'm sorry," she gets out. "I thought you were my friend Luna from home."

The woman looks up at the mention of the name, then looks increasingly bewildered as Mia continues talking.

"...We are the Luna thou knowest, Mia Ausa. One of them, at any rate."

[gorgonfondness]

Getting a good look at her face seals the deal. The girls have been aging pretty gracefully but Luna doesn't look quite that young anymore. And her eyes aren't green.

"Princess Luna?" she ventures. "Goodness, you look so much like the Luna I know at home when we were younger. Except for your eyes."

The Guildmaster giggles a little bit.

"Actually, if your eyes were a little greener, they'd be like Alex's. You probably look the way a child of theirs might."

[always_the_moon]

"We are not trying to look like anyone," she replies. "Just... ourself, as a human."

[gorgonfondness]

"It would be a bit strange if you were trying to look like anyone in particular, especially someone I doubt you've met. Still, your resemblance is striking."

A wide smile.

"And since you're Luna and not Luna, then you definitely don't have the letter from Tempest and Fresca. Which means I get to tell you the good news myself."

"Oh? And what news is that, pray tell?"

Zoey had heard that people from all over tended to appear in the bar, so it wasn't the color of Luna's hair that gave Zoey some thoughts. After all, she had spiky orange and her friend Dawn had blue hair as well. However her experience with Pokemon led her to believe something was... off.

"Um, hello."

"Greetings to thee," says the young woman with a polite nod of her head.

While Zoey herself was usually pretty informal when speaking, the way this young wwoman did talk was slightly unnerving. Either she was royalty or from some sort of high class family the way she saw it. Her Glameow (a small and gray tabby cat) sniffed at Luna but other than that ignored her.

"How are you? I'm Zoey, and that's Glameow." She greeted in a warm if not awkward tone.

"We--I am Luna," the young woman corrects herself. "'Tis a pleasure to meet thee, Zoey and Glameow."

"Nice to meet you, Luna. What were you doing if you don't mind me asking? Looking for someone?" Zoey's curiousity getting the better of her.

"Nay. We were merely... sitting. And thinking."
