 Renee is contemplating going home.

She is doing this contemplation by being at the lakeside, where the larger boulders are, standing on one hand and bending her legs back towards her occiput. 

Hey, it helps her think.

Somebody claps his hands, behind her.

"Thou art an acrobat!" a man's voice says. "There is no marvel, is there not, that is not found here?"

Renee opens an eye, which was closed, and cranes her neck to see him.

"Not one single marvel missing," she agrees.

"For 'tis a marvellous place that hath all which any man desires," he says, grinning.

[interrogoiterum]

"Yeah," Renee says dryly, "I guess it does. You find it recently?"

"Only some weeks ago," he says, "and lo, it holds all marvels, and the loveliest wenches!"

[interrogoiterum]

"Yeah," she says, quirking a smile. "Certainly some lovely wenches."

[poins]

"And thou among them, as skilful as thou art lovely, to stand thus," he says, winking at her.

[interrogoiterum]

Renee just rolls her eyes. "Wasted effort, Romeo."

"What is a Romeo?" he asks. "So, art thou spoken for, wench, and wouldst not change thy mind when better men come by than what thou hast so far?"

[interrogoiterum]

She shakes her head. "Not even slightly, my friend. Not about to change my mind for any man."

"Thou claimest to be a virgin sworn, a nun or some such," he says, incredulous, "vowing to never know the touch of man, neither for wanton pleasure, nor gainful matrimony? I fain would not believe that."

He eyes her, shaking his head.

Renee cleverly does not fall over, despite laughing quite hard.

"Not a nun," she says. "And not a virgin, either. Do they have the word 'lesbian' where you're from?"

"I never saw a nun stand on one hand," Poins says, "so I did never truly think so. No men, and yet no virgin? From a Greek island?"

When Helena wants to think she goes running. Funny that the person she is thinking about most lately is the one perched upside down on a rock.

Her newest thought, when she sees the Renee doing a handstand on the rock is that she very... bendy...

Closely followed by the thought: What the hell do I say to her?

Renee cracks one eye open when she hears someone coming.

She opens them both when she sees that hey, it's Helena. Carefully, she unbends.

"Hey."

[baptizemyself]

"Hey."

Well it's not Shakespeare, but it's a start.

It's possible Renee's had enough Shakespeare at this point.

With a friendly 'Kiss? What Kiss?' smile, she unfolds and turns over to sit on the rock.

"Haven't seen you in a while."

[baptizemyself]

That would be the kiss that Helena can't stop thinking about, right? The one she screwed up big time?

"I've been busy back home," she says with a shrug. "I'm not sure how long it's been here, but it's been a few months out there.

Besides," she adds, "I don't get to choose when I come here."

[interrogoiterum]

"Wasn't trying to make you guilty," Renee says, with the faintest wince. "Just an opening gambit along the lines of 'how have you been?'"

[baptizemyself]

Right. She realises she's getting her hackles up again and going on the defensive - something which never ends well with Renee. Or anyone, really.

She takes a breath and tries to relax her shoulders.

"... I've been busy," she repeats, attempting a smile to try and lighten the atmosphere.

"You?"

[interrogoiterum]

"Mmmmm not so busy," Renee admits. "Well, busy when I go back. Got myself a website now. I't very twenty first century."

[baptizemyself]

"A website? What for?"

As a hero who goes to great lengths to keep her persona in the shadows as much as possible, the idea of advertising on the internet is just a little bit confusing.

"Can't people trace you through the internet?"

If not people in general, then Oracle certainly could.

[interrogoiterum]

"Yeah well, that's the point," Renee says. "Sometimrs, when people need help, they don't have access to a giant modified search light. Sometimes all they have is a computer and a modem."

[baptizemyself]

"You think I don't know that?" Helena scowls. "Do I look like I wear Bat ears and only answer calls for help when they're made on giant modified searchlights?

"I meant they might trace you, personally. Renee Montoya. You'll have to forgive me for being concerned that Joker or Two Face or God only knows who might find out who you are and where you are and come after you."

[interrogoiterum]

Renee frowns slightly at the scowl.

"I think Tot knows how to set up an untraceable IP," she says after a second.
