Ginny walks in she's been studying working on school and playing Qudditch. She is ready for a break but that doesn't seem to happen as she gets passed a note from bar. Making a face she then shrugs. Having no idea what would make a good special she goes with what she knows.

Ginny smiles at her. "Hey there Sarah you look good with hair. Yes, I got snagged, it's not that bad really though."

"Well, in that case... hmmm..." she has a look at the specials. "How about a glass of pumpkin juice. Or is that a mug thing? I thas be a long time since I've had something pumpkin-ish."

"So how are you?"

"In a mug it's warm in a glass it's cold." she said softly as she gets a glass and does a spell making it frost over adding the pumpkin juice.

"I'm okay, Just busy with school and all. Yourself?"

"Busy with keeping robbers away from my store. People think that the war gives them an excuse to steal from me," she says with a sad, dismissive chuckle.

In reality, she has been having fun with the war. Especially with the occasional commander that has marched into town demanding supplies from her.

"It has been a while since I've been to Milliways, so this is a nice relief."

Ginny sighs as she looks at her and leans against the bar a bit.

"I'm sorry you're having such a hard time in your world. It does seem that people lose their heads in time of war. I don't understand it myself. It is good. I find breaks are always welcome"

"Some would say war times happen when people lose their heads." She takes a drink of the pumpkin juice. "The Pharaoh and the Emir have been looking for excuse to go to war with each other for a long time now. The Emir doesn't think that the Pharaoh has a legitimate claim to rule and the Pharaoh doesn't think the Emirate should exist as an independent state. But that hasn't been enough reason to start an actual war. I don't even know what excuse for it either side is using."

Lies. Fears that the Cult of Amascut has returned and isn't being dealt with are driving things. Fears that when the cult is dealt with, other things will be dealt with in the same fashion are driving things.

"But enough of that." She curls and flexes her fingers a few times and concentrates on her index finger. A small tongue of flame appears and settles on her finger. "I finally learned some finesse when it comes to casting spells."

Ginny then smiles. "Yeah, that's good so you stopped singeing your hair off?"

She's willing to drop other topic because she assumes that it causes Sarah trouble and pain to talk about so she's totally okay pretending they weren't talking about it.

"Heh. Those weren't really accidents, th..." she stops. No, now is not the time for corrections, especially not correcions that would make her seem monsterous.

No, wait, that time on Gordon and Alyx's world was damn heroic! She could make eveything sound heroic, can't she?

No... better act sad and broody. The flame goes out and she takes a sip from her glass. "Actually, I was thinking... you remember when I said magic from your world was… practical? There's practical magic on my world too, but I was never good at the fiddly things when I was younger. I concentrated on power instead; spells that were supposed to make things break."

She fiddles with her hair. "I would like to learn how to not make things break, now that I can. I think."

"I think that is good. There is always a need or good and bad, and Power and practical. I think it's wise to learn all that you can for you will never know what you will need.":

She said and then looks at her with a smile and leans against the bar.

"The only practical spells I know are enchantments, though. I know a Bake Pie spell, in theory."

Bake Pie doesn't conjure the ingredients out of thin air, though.

"Really? so if you had everything in the pan you could bake it? That's impressive."

"Theoretically. I have never taken the time to gather the ingredients for a pie, so I have never tried casting it. But supposedly it cooks pies perfectly."

"How hard was it to learn the hair growth spell?"

"Not, that hard really. It's about Transfiguration, and restorations. It only works on like hair nails or something. If you loose your hand it stays gone."
