We built this city on rock and roll...

It is early in the morning in at least one time zone.

A giant flatpack hut has been set out ready for the Scouts and helpers to help assemble*, barn raising style.

Able to lift stuff? Able to hold stuff while it is attacked with a nailgun? Able to hold a paintbrush? Able to make cold drinks and bring them to the sweaty builders? There is a role for you!

Once the building is up, they can start on the rest of the playground, but one thing at a time.

There's also a gramophone in one corner of the site, playing some suitably inspirational barn-raising music.

[*Assisting in completion in any way will earn your Scout a Construction badge.

OOC: Have at, party post style :)]

She wondered if he had some elfblood in him, but to ask might give people the wrong idea. Last time, someone took offense at her asking and she didn't want people to get upset if she was just curious.

Lining up the lumps, she watched him with the scre driver before setting a lump on the wall for herself. As they only had nails were she was from, this was an experience. "Are you able to see in the dark, then?"

Fry pauses.

"How dark?"

"You remember the night we were camping? That sort of dark." The dark from outside, not the dark of being completely black.

She's able to work as she talks, screwing in a few more holds.

"I could see there." Fry says. "It was too light, I couldn't sleep."

"Because of the fire." She found it bright too, but embers were easier to light than cold ashes. "Smoke from embers keeps insects away without the risk of the fire getting out of control."

They camped on the way to upsala, and her father told them that was why they just let the fire die down instead of smothering it.

"I think it was just the stars." Fry says. "And that it was summer and it was light really early."
