Bonnie has been doing a bit of negotiating, and pins a sign up on the board this evening.

I would like to thank Thirteen and Connor for coming over from Life Support to help us get set up when we first started. They are not able to help with activities at present, so I'd like to welcome Jay Todd as a fourth leader, since he turns up most the time anyhow.

This makes your current cohort of leaders:

Secondly, I am planning a canoeing trip across the lake on 24th October, providing there's a few of you interested. We could use a rough idea of numbers and at least a couple people strong enough to help carry a canoe from the bar to the lake.

She picks up a non-alcoholic beer from the bar, and goes over to the dartboard to throw some darts.

"Hey Bonnie." Jay comes over to join her with a soda. "Thanks for having me." He looks very tired.

"Thank you fer coming to all the events." Bonnie says. "I felt you might as well be official."

Headtilt. "You okay?"

"Gotta help were I can. I was a pretty messed up kid, it's nice to help these guys."

He rubs his eyes and sighs. "Yeah. Just busy. You know those drones that hang out around my workshop?"

[is_the_motion]

"As in losers or robots?"

[runningred]

"Robots. Or at least I thought they were when I first found them and fixed them up. Turns out they're survivors from a holocaust. Gav helped me talk to them."

[is_the_motion]

"A robot holocaust?"

[runningred]

"Sounds like their world was pretty mix - organic and inorganic beings. I don't know what happened exactly but something came in and killed almost everything. Stock, one of the drones I found here said something harvested them."

"Gav and I went there, managed to find a few survivors. Most of them are badly damaged and in some sort of low power mode, like a coma. I've been trying to patch them up but I don't know that I can do it all alone."

[is_the_motion]

"You need me to come help?" Bonnie asks.

[runningred]

"I might, yeah. If you're willing? They're living creatures but physically, they're complicated machines. You're one of a few people I know with the skills to get them running again. I need to do some more work to get the space set up to work on them but if you're free tonight, I'd really value your help."

[is_the_motion]

"Course I will." Bonnie says.

She trusts him to get her back safe.

"Anything else I need to know to fix them?"

He shakes his head. "I've been getting the workshop set up with everything we need and I have pretty clear plans of how their insides should go together. Just come down to the garage tonight if you can and I'll show you what's what."

"Will do." Bonnie nods. "You should get some rest first."

Jay chuckles darkly. "Less blood in my caffeine stream and I'll be good to keep going. There's too much to do."
