"Eh, they're bikers, that's more or less all they do once they park."

"That's too bad," Alana says, resting her hands on the tabletop. "It's good that you understand that you'll need to cut back. Will you be tempted to drink with them?"

Bonnie shrugs. She's really been more worried about her liver than she'd like, and that leaflet Guppy gave her said tiredness was a big symptom.

"Maybe. I don't know."

"Well, good luck, Bonnie," Alana says, lacing her fingers together. "Are you all right?"

"I... I just feel old and tired." Bonnie says. "Lot of people depend on me to keep going so it's a worry. But it's not been fer all that long so I'm probably overdramatisin' it."

[patterns_bloom]

"You've got a lot on your plate," Alana says, shaking her head. "It makes sense that you would be worn out. I don't think you're overdramatic at all. Is there anyone who can take the kids for a day so you can catch up on your sleep?"

[is_the_motion]

"My sister in law Lucy lives with us, and she helps out a lot, though she's got some mental health problems and I don't like to leave her alone with Terry too much. I mean, she ain't dangerous, just Terry is quite hard work."

Bonnie shakes her head. "But the weird thing is that I've had more sleep than I normally would, I've even been takin' naps here, and I'm still tired. I don't know whether I'm snorin' or somethin'."

"That's no good," Alana says, furrowing her brow. "Maybe you can have Guppy check you out. Excessive tiredness is usually indicative of a larger problem."

[is_the_motion]

Bonnie glances over to the man struggling with the chocolate fountain.

"He'll only fuss." she says quietly.

"Maybe fussing is what you need?" Alana says, just as quietly.

[is_the_motion]

"I think we were closer with that 'overdramatising' theory." Bonnie says, pouring some coffee. "It's only been a couple weeks."

[patterns_bloom]

"Well, if you find it lasting more than a month, you can get checked out, all right?" Alana says, drawing a breath through her nose. "I'd like to make sure that you're taken care of here."

[is_the_motion]

"Okay fine, if it's a month I will." Bonnie agrees. "I'm half way through the menopause, so it could be that." she adds.

"It could be," Alana says, nodding thoughtfully. "Do you have any other theories as to what could be making you so tired?"

"Well, obviously I worry about my liver, but I haven't had a drink since Halloween."

"That's good," Alana says, easing into a smile. "That's progress. Well done, Bonnie. You'll be quitting in no time."

[is_the_motion]

"Yeah." Bonnie smiles, but it doesn't quite reach her eyes.

"Anyhow, I may go catch up on some of that sleep upstairs, I'll see you later?"

"All right," Alana says, inclining her head. "Take care of yourself, Bonnie. I'll see you around."
