The Great Snow Battle Machine Battle
Outside there is a fresh fall of snow, and it's time for the Scouts to compete in a snow battle. They've had just under two weeks to design and prepare a non-electric machine to throw snow as far as possible.
Bonnie has drawn a line in the snow for them to line their machines up to, and erected the two Patrol's banners for them to compete under.
"All right, let the game begin." she says, getting her trundle wheel ready.
(Afterwards there will be plenty of time to chuck snow at each other too, and hot chocolate)
[ooc: Threadhopping encouraged! All child-friendly pups who aren't Scouts are welcome to come and join in the snow fight after the competition :)
And of course, there is a badge]

Cat Patrol
[ooc: Your machine's distance is entirely up to you, if you want to make it random, roll the d20.]
Re: Cat Patrol
However, after it broke and smacked him in the face, he has made a much simpler one for her to play with which is literally just a long Y-shaped stick stuck in the ground with an elastic slingshot attached.
By the time he has it set up, the two girls are building a snowman.
Re: Cat Patrol
The over all design was made from wood, stretchy rope (really called bungy cords) and a shallow sauce pan from the kitchens. She'd tried a shovel at first, but found that actually keeping the snow in the shovel was too much of a hassle. Her personal touch, of course, was her own shield as a defense against oncoming snowballs. All in all, she was very proud of herself.
Now the hard part, getting it to aim properly. The wood she found was as limber as it got, helped by the cords. All it took now was adjusting the cords while pulling back the lever.
Gyda's first strike was a good distance by four feet..only it swerved to the left rather than straight.
So close though.

Fierce, vicious, snowy battle.
Re: Fire Fish Patrol
"We're going to win!" he says confidently.

With the sharp sound of metal on wood as the shovel handle impacts the sawhorse, a shovel-full of snow is flung swiftly across the open area towards... whoops.

She would reason that sometimes, elaborate battle-cries are not necessary.

Indeed. Have a snowball right back at you before he dives behind a tree!
