[oom: Fry goes to the Nature House, and he and Bradley finally learn to look out for each other.]

Fry is drenched in cold water when he comes in, and although he's stopped shrieking, looks most displeased about it.

He doesn't have any spare clothes, so he makes a beeline for the fireplace to warm up, and starts by shaking his hair violently, splashing water over anyone nearby, before sitting in front of the fire. He takes a spinning top out of one pocket, and spins it on the floor, watching the shadows it casts from the dancing flames.

"Well, this obviously wasn't a good day for me to sleep here," says a voice from one of the armchairs.

What appears to be a grey fuzzy pillow (spattered with water from Fry's shaking his hair off) moves, and uncurls itself into a grey fox. The fox stretches out across the armchair. "Ah. You're the lad who was making the blue ink a while back, right?" He blinks at Fry. "My. How did you get all soaked like that?"

"Yes." Fry says.

Spinnnn

"Some big boys did it."

[yinyangwizard]

"Hmph." The fox twitches his tail. "I can help you give them a good scare, if you like, to teach them better manners."

Although Fry's preferred method of dealing with it may or may not involve good scares.

[fry_sandhu]

"Tommy got them with the hose." Fry says. "He said 'Ha ha, you wet your pants'."

"In a way, I guess they did," the fox says with a tinge of amusement. He jumps down from the chair to watch the top, although he doesn't get in the way of it. "Does spinning the top help you calm down?"

He can kind of see how it would.

[fry_sandhu]

"Yes." Fry says.

"I told the boys to be quiet when the teacher was talking and they said they weren't interested in fungi, so I told them about the fungi and they said I should show them, but then they told me to eat it and when I said it was dirty they made me wet."

[yinyangwizard]

"Well, that wasn't very nice," the fox says. "I would watch out for them, even if your friend got them with the hose. I suspect they have not learned their lesson yet, and will want to get back at you and your friend."

They might have been scared off by Tommy and the hose, but Seimei bets they will be looking for a way to soothe their bruised egos.

"I can cast a spell to dry you off if you like."

"Will it hurt?"

[yinyangwizard]

"No," the fox says. "You'll just feel a puff of air all over you for a moment. Some people find the sensation a bit startling, but it doesn't hurt at all."

[diehard_daniel]

"Hey! Fry, you got my notes wet," says Daniel, "You okay?"

He also stops a passing rat and orders towels, a blanket, and two hot chocolates.

[fry_sandhu]

"Sorry."

Shrug.

"I am cold and wet."

And a bit confused by it all.

[diehard_daniel]

"It's okay," says Daniel sitting down on the floor next to the boy, "Why are you soaked?"

The rat returns with the ordered items, very quickly. Daniel took these things and offers Fry a towel first, then blanket, and finally the hot chocolate.

[fry_sandhu]

"Some big boys did it." Fry says, putting the towel over himself until just his face sticks out.

"Thanks."

[diehard_daniel]

"No problem," says Daniel, "You should probably tell your dad, Fry. Want me to help you with that?"

Cause sometimes telling your parents about other kids being assholes can be difficult.

[fry_sandhu]

"Teddy said I started it but the shouldn't have done it because they were bigger than me." Fry says.

"I'm on a school trip, Dad's not there."

[diehard_daniel]

"Your dad comes here, doesn't he?" asks Daniel, "What about your teacher?"

[fry_sandhu]

"My dad comes here." Fry says. "But he's not here. If I'm here, and we didn't come together, his time is stopped. My teacher doesn't come here."

[a1enzo]

"Whoa!" Enzo shields his eyes and mouth from the flying droplets. "Watch the water. Are you okay?"

[fry_sandhu]

"I'm cold and wet." Fry says, continuing to spin his top.

[a1enzo]

"Well, the fire's a good start for both of those. Are you okay besides that?"

[fry_sandhu]

"I don't know." Fry says.

Feelings are hard.

"I didn't get hurt. Some big kids turned the hose on me."

[a1enzo]

Enzo's face darkens.

"I'd say 'what'd they do that for?' but I doubt they had a reason."

[fry_sandhu]

"I asked them to be quiet when the teacher was talking because I couldn't hear."

[a1enzo]

Enzo makes a noise somewhere between a grumble and a growl.

"I'd offer to help, but I guess you can't bring a bodyguard to school, huh?"

"I'm on a school trip." Fry says.
