Return of the hung-over Viking
[[OOC: Context: Ragnar had some very uncomfortable ideas planted in his head by young!Moriarty, and then walked off into the mountains to get drunk think about them.]]
The back door to the lake and garden opens, and Ragnar Lothbrok walks in. He looks a bit dirty and scruffy, and if you get close, you'll notice that he smells of unwashed Viking.
He walks up to the bar and orders a pint of beer, which he drains to over half mark before putting it down again. He sighs, opens his magical belt pouch, gets out a bottle and puts it on the bar counter where it vanishes.
And another.
And another.
And another...

The next one is a common or garden beer bottle.

He is, indeed, rather smelly.
"I needed to think."

...and he really smells. Jim wrinkles his nose as he comes to the bar for another Coke.
'You know they have showers here, yes?'
Yeah yeah, he's been outside for a while, that much is obvious. But it doesn't do to let people know how easy it is to read them.

He orders a new drink, and takes a step or two away.
'Why?'

'Are you okay? Most people don't go and think about things for days. Outside, on their own.'
Jim actually identifies with this behaviour, so there's no judgement. Apart from the smell, because there's no need to let yourself go like that.

He takes the bottle and drinks.
Huh? There is no alcohol in it!
"What is this?"
Pause.
"Erm. Thanks."

"So it's not supposed to taste nice?" he says. "Well, thank you very much."
He deposits a few more bottles.
"I didn't drink that all at once. I've been in the mountains for a few days."
More like a week.

Jay raises an eyebrow. "Is the booze the only thing you took with you?"

Millitimed!
When she finally sees him, he's been drinking awhile and she can smell it on him. That's the only think that keeps her from rushing up to him, though it feels like ages since she's seen him.
"You've been gone too long." She pulls herself up to a stool next to him.
ooc: slowtimed..and I just realized, at some point, Gyda's going to learn about the holocaust. :(

Which he has been for a few days, admittedly.
"You have fancy new clothes from the future."
As they are stating things at random.

"I know," She answered. "Father Pierce told me, and I tried to look for you, but there were so many areas you could be." She wasn't sure she could search all of them before he were to find his way back to Bar again.
"It was my first day of school. They have the students wear uniforms while attending." She was just in too much of a hurry to check on him that the most she did was relax her uniform a little.

She frowned. The name didn't even sound right when she first said it, yet that's how it came out. "Father Pearse, I mean. Don't know why it came out that way."
"And yes," In a sense, she was grateful for them: atleast in a uniform, she didn't stick out have as much as she felt on the inside. "Boys were similar, only they're giving dark blue trousers. Girls are only allowed to wear pants in the colder months."
And given it was late summer, that wasn't likely for awhile. "In gym class, we're giving school t-shirts and shorts."
It may've only been one day, but so far gym was her favorite: easier to follow.
