Cassian enjoys planets with long summers or no winters most of the time, but he's been spending too long on one where the heat feels like its pushing down on him. When he opens a door and finds Milliways, which he hasn't seen in a little while, he smiles. At the counter, Bar gives him a bathing suit and a towel.

Quickly he changes and heads out to the beach along with a bag of food from Bar. He stays in the water for a while, swimming back and forth, exploring deeper and going back to the beach. Then he lays out on the towel to eat and rest until the sun starts to go down. Only after sunset does he head inside and upstairs to change before ending up on one of the couches with a datapad and watching a sports game on the television.

The game's not quite at half time when Eden unceremoniously drops from the rafters and lands perched on the couch's back.

"Hey," Eden says, very seriously. "Hey, Cassian. Hey. Hey. Hey."

He points at the screen.

"What's that?"

Cassian reaches for his blaster then realizes its Eden, "A game called football and a series of matches called the World Cup. Its on an Earth."

"... Why're they fighting over a cup? Every world I've been to has had people just sellin' cups, that's way more efficient."

Eden hasn't bought any, because he's not a Cup Aficionado, but he could have! If he was!

(But he's not.)

"The trophy's called a cup, a lot of them are. I don't know why, but the two teams are from countries called Belgium and Japan."

[arkadia]

"What're they drinkin' out of the cup?"

The contents of these cups might explain why they keep being used as trophies!

"And what're the rules of the game?"

"I don't know, someone from Earth might know. Each team is trying to score goals and they can only touch the ball with their feet or their head, no hands."

[arkadia]

"Guess the hint was in the name all along."

A lesson has been learned here.

"So, they just have to kick the ball into the goal, and then they just do that, back and forth?"

[deadeye_shot]

Hawkeye has left her uniform jacket behind, stripped to a form-fitting, black turtleneck, in order to better run around the lake. Her military-issued boots thud on the packed trail as she keeps up a fast clip.

On her jog, she spots Cassian swimming in the ocean, and decides to take her cool down walk on the beach. Sweat makes her long, blonde hair cling to her nape, and she's breathing heavily by the time she reaches him. "Hello, Cassian. How are you?"

When he sees her running his way, he waves and heads back to the beach. Then he gets out, grabbing his towel as he knows he has various scars that show his history as a fighter, "Good, enjoying the cooler water."

Hawkeye hasn't swam in decades, so she envies Cassian his ability to cavort about in the water. She wipes sweat off her brow with the back of her wrist. "Don't let me stop you," she says, with a small smile. "I'm glad to see that you are taking a break."

He's mainly swimming laps and relaxing, swimming isn't something he has a chance to do very often either but he likes the peace of the water.

At times it almost reminds him of space, "I'm on a planet that's too hot, the water here's a nice change. How are you doing?"

"I'm well, thanks for asking," Hawkeye says, stretching her arms above her head in an effort to slow her breathing. "We've hunted down a rogue alchemist. What are you doing on a planet that's too hot?"

"A rogue alchemist? What were they doing? Meeting with someone to arrange some cargo,"

Alchemy doesn't mean anything to Cassian but it clearly matters for Hawkeye, perhaps it will explain how Mustang made fire with his hands.

Graverobber tends not to head outdoors much. He only spots Cassian once he's back in the bar, absorbed in his viewing.

"Watching something good?" he asks, walking over.

"Yes, its a game called I think football and a major match. They're all good players," He smiles and waves Graverobber over.

[quick_clean_pure]

Graverobber comes over and watches, and also immediately realizes which version of 'football' Cassian is talking about. "Nice. Who's playing?"

"Belgium and Japan. Do you know about the World Cup? They're both good teams."

[quick_clean_pure]

"Not really. I've heard of it but don't know too much. Sports was never really my thing."

[childofrebellion]

"Mine either, other than kicking around a ball sometimes. I know enough to talk to people watching them when I have to, but I've always been more interested in what pilots are doing."

[makes_the_toys]

Down at the beach there's already some splashing going on, and laughing.

With the weather like it is, Cisco and Barry decided on a beach day, as well. They've taken over a portion of sandy real estate with a pair of towels laid out on the beach under a big umbrella.

Also under the large umbrella is a porg chick napping in its nest which is inside of a basket.

The laughing is coming from the water, where Barry has just flipped over Cisco who was lounging in an inner tube.

"Ohh, you're so gonna get it," Cisco sputters, swiping water from his face while Barry grins.

Cassian sees them when he reaches the beach and laughs as Cisco goes over. Then waves when he's in their line of sight, draping the towel over his chest, "Need reinforcements?"

[run_barry]

When Barry spots Cassian he turns and throws up an arm in a wave.

"Hey, Cassian! C'mon-- "

[makes_the_toys]

Barry doesn't get to finish what he's saying, because Cisco takes the opportunity to jump Barry and dunk him under the water.

"Cass! Gettin' your tan on, or what?" Cisco asks, grinning as he holds Barry down, then gulping when he gets dragged under a moment later.

Much splashing ensues.

"Cooling down,"

He sets down his towel before heading towards them. First immersing himself and then attempting to sneak up on both of them to give them a quick dousing.

The two begin fighting over the inner tube and it's Cisco who comes away with it, leaving Barry to get doused by Cassian.

In red board shorts and shirtless, Barry laughs, splashing Cassian back, then shaking off water before slicking back his hair.

"What's up, man? Didn't expect to see you out here."
