Creed stomps in from the back door, shoving snow off his shoulder. He makes a beeline for the bar and orders a beer. A really big one. Afterward, he randomly picks a chair and sits down in a huff.
Someone's having a bad day.
Someone's having a bad day.

"Who the fuck pissed in your coffee?" He mutters by way of greeting, arching an eyebrow.
no subject
"People who don't pay what they owe."
no subject
"Money, or is this some other kind of debt?"
no subject
"Money, in this case. Might end up being more than that when I get a hold of him."
no subject
People who leave debts unpaid don't rate very highly in Yamato's books, but in fairness it probably took some balls to screw Angry Beer Man over here out of payment.
no subject
He takes a sip of beer and shrugs.
"Don't need your approval."
no subject
Yamato throws a wry smile over at the man, arching an eyebrow. "Approval doesn't factor into it. I'm just rooting for the underdog. At the very least, I hope you can recoup your losses, though."
no subject
He snorts. At least the kid knows who the underdog is.
"Oh, I'll recoup my losses and then some."
no subject
He gives the man a sidelong look, but doesn't ask what the 'then some' is. He can figure it out, this is decidedly not a complex equation.
"What'd you do for him anyway?"
no subject
Creed returns the look with a bit of amusement.
"Hired to kill a guy. He killed himself first."
Which is so not his problem. He did his work up until he couldn't. He gets paid for that.
no subject
Well, Yamato rather figured it was something like that.
"I can see why there'd be a pay dispute, at least. Still think the client should pay up, but I get why he wouldn't. You didn't do the job in the end, after all."
no subject
He's actually pretty proud of his work. He doesn't half-ass any of it.
"He owes me."

Itemised invoices may be the way to go in the Murder Industry.

The bar provided it, and it's now tumbling over and over in midair, stretching and folding back into itself in nonsense shapes. She still notices him, though.
"Hello Victor."
no subject
"Hey, Sin. What trouble you been up to?"
no subject
It's fairly clear there are still things to work out with that decision. Hence the beer for her. "I don't like that name."
no subject
He think s about her later comment for a few moments.
"Your name. 'Spose I could just stick with darling."
no subject
Her thumbnail flicks the loose corner of the bottle's paper label, curling it up as her mouth shifts when he mentions the nickname. "No, Sinthia is alright. Just not Sin. That's what they called me." On the occasion they called her any name in particular.
no subject
He'd sort of done the same thing, eventually.
Huh.
"Sinthia. I'll try my best."
no subject
"Thank you." She sighs softly. "I don't know how long to stay."
no subject
Especially when Jimmy left.
"Stay here? As long as you want."
no subject
She almost asks who Jimmy is--because she's been listening, of course--but doesn't. "What had you upset before?"
no subject
He'd appreciate that. Telepaths aren't his favourites.
"Someone didn't pay what they owe me."
