May the Fourth Be With The All Skate
The bar shifts, or it changed when no one was looking, and now resembles a certain cantina popular with the villainy and scum, as well as more upstanding folks. The air is dryer than usual, and a taste of grit and sand just hangs in the air. It just makes you want some blue milk doesn't it?
Has your character changed? Perhaps...who can tell? The Landlord I suppose but they aren't talking.
[ooc: HI and Welcome to a Star Wars themed All Skate, the best way to celebrate May the Fourth! Party style post. You do not have to interact with any of my characters to play.
The Rules are simple:
- This post, and any post with the subject heading ALL SKATE are open to everyone.
That means old characters, new characters, retired characters, doubles of characters, original characters, non-canon compliant characters.
- We will all play nice and adhere to Wheaton's Law: Don't be a dick.
- Gratuitous behavior, either of a violent or sexual nature, will not be tolerated in the Comm. Take that to an OOM, and then Content Warning the hell out of it before you link it.
- Communication is paramount. Everyone's keyed up, let's just have some fun.]

“What?”

He offers as he likes to know all the Rebels who come to Milliways.

She grins, and offers a hand. “Bitts Darklighter.”

He shakes her hand with a smile, mutinying is always good for the Rebellion.

And at times he still does when his missions intersect with theirs.

But she knows Blue Squadron, and she should know Merrick's name, so her grin stills.
"I don't know him," she says, and sounds a little sad. Is this a time thing?
no subject
Milliways must be being odd with time, now to see if he can find the right question to get where she's in from pinned down.

"Little skirmishes. The last big conflict was just before I joined: Scarif."
But she hasn't heard any names from that, just that something really important went missing afterwards. She hasn't quite figured out if it's a person or intel, yet. Reports seem confused.

Its not a logical target for an attack but perhaps for infiltration, but even so, those odds are horrible.

Instead, something's been nagging her.
"Hey, you catch sight of the other guy?" Nodding her head backwards towards the bar. "You know him?"

A planet he might not even have heard of.
“Except, you know,” she mimes having a lightsaber, an object she’s only ever heard of before today.

"Boring hellscape of a desert planet. Good for airspeeding and crime, and not a lot else. Got out of the place as soon as I could."
no subject
Since the Rebellion always needs pilots.

Ben Kenobi fighting Darth Vader still nags her, and it's going to do that for a while.
"What about you, where'd you grow up?"
no subject
So its where he's from but hasn't been home for a long time.
no subject
"How old were you?"

"I was a baby when the clone wars ended," she says. "I don't remember any of it at all."

"Hold up," she raises a finger and turns around, creeping o her hands and knees along the wall to the back door in order to peek in.
"Looks quiet..."
A lot less active destruction going on.
