It's late afternoon when someone who really looks like he doesn't belong here saunters in from the front door. (It's probably the uniform.) There's surprise on his face at first - who isn't surprised when a bar you've never been to before shows up where your closet should be? - but the expression is soon replaced with a big smile.
There's a blue flash and he's at the bar ordering a cup of coffee, black, and then another flash and he's seated in one of the comfy armchairs by the window. Legs crossed ankle over knee, he sits back and watches the display with an odd curiosity.
This has to be it. The place the workers at the Commission only whisper about.
Number Five has finally arrived at Milliways.

Eventually, he hones in on a face that is more than familiar. Klaus?
He abandons his armchair and blinks over to where Klaus is. "The fuck are you doing?" Here, in general, as well as, Klaus, what are you doing?
no subject
"Looking finer than you ever will, asshole." He grumbles, voice kept to a low pitch learned from years of avoiding having people realize he's 'talking to himself'. Then he sighs, and then looks over, resignedly.
Whoop, there's the scream.

"What are you doing here? Is anyone else here?"

"And stop painting your toes. You're in a mini-skirt. No one needs to see that."
Especially him.

"But yeah, I mean, not right now? Ben was here, but I don't know where he wandered off to, probably the library." It's still a very unusual experience, not being his brother's literal keeper, and he's definitely not used to it.
no subject
"Yeah, the library. I'll have to check that out." Because library. Also, could lead to Ben.
no subject
"I've heard it's cool. For a library." Klaus has very little use for libraries, honestly, people are much more fun and informative.
"Anyway, good job on not being dead, I always believed."

"I got stuck in the future."
no subject
Done that once, don't want to do it again.
And it wasn't like Daddy Hargreeves was letting them out to go on searches.

"How long have you been coming here?"

"So I've heard."

"You don't deserve it. But we've got a lot to do now, so let's get prepared."
no subject
"Prepare?" Klaus asks, blandly, while going back to his painting.

"Is that a royal we, or do you have some plucky band of miscreants hiding in your pockets?"
no subject
"If you had two braincells to rub together... There's an apocalypse coming. We are stopping it. You, the rest of the family."
no subject
"You have fun with that. I'm out." Zero things, it turns out, makes for a very short list. And evidently he has a definite time limit on getting these nails done.

"Nope, no more missions for me." Klaus is back at the mansion because it's a hell of a lot warmer than the street, because mom still makes the best cookies, and because there's a shitton of stuff to pawn.
no subject
"You're going to die if we don't stop it."
no subject
Look, he already knows God hates him, hateful little brat that she is.
no subject
"This is not some untimely overdose, Klaus. This is the apocalypse. You will be dead. The whole family will be dead. Seven billion others, dead. I've seen it. I've seen your body."
