...check the username, folks.
David walks in, a large, leather-bound copy of Paradise Lost in his hands. He takes a look around, obviously hoping to see someone, before sighing tiredly and settling down by the couches to read.
[ooc: another Loki-trick for David, but wander over into the fun and watch me flail. Loki's not the only one hoping he gets it right...]

There's no mental link between a vampire and their maker. But Lestat knows David well enough...

David smiles.
"I don't know, Lestat. Each time I reread it I'm almost convinced, and then I get to the end with all the hissing."
He laughs and gestures to the seat next to him.

Lestat sits next to 'David,' close enough. He kisses him, and nuzzles in his neck. "Fee, fie, foo, fum, I smell the blood of an Englishma-" He narrows his eyes. "Or rather, I don't."
no subject
"I'm just a little Norse boy, lost on his way."
He laughs and smiles at Lestat.
"Though you're welcome to continue with all the rest of it. I missed you on Mardi Gras. Something of a disappointment. A pleasure to meet you, Lestat."
no subject
Yeah. He's still not grasped that David had two Lokis.
no subject
"God, actually. Norse God. Though I have got wings, normally. And yes, my name is Loki. It's caused more confusion than you'd think."
He holds a hand out to Lestat.
"And really, no cause for alarm, sir. I'm quite friendly. Exceedingly so."
Oh, the grin he gives. Tis a naughty naughty grin.
no subject
Distracting as that grin is on David's body, Lestat wants to know one thing before he takes the pro-offered hand.
"What have you done with David?"
no subject
"Absolutely nothing. Honestly, you all act as if I'm kidnapping him instead of dating him. I love David as I've loved no other in all my time. He's asleep in Tokyo, where I left him, unless he woke up to get breakfast or somesuch."
no subject
"Prove it. Prove he's safe." He gets up on his own.
no subject
"He's right over there. He walked in a few minutes ago. I was just about to go up and see him, actually. But I'd much rather speak with you, to be honest. I haven't gotten the chance before now and I know how important David is to you."
no subject
At Loki's admission that he'd rather speak to Lestat, the vampire grins. This sort of thing appeals to his ego. "Well, I can't blame you."
"So, why?" He indicates Loki's...current attire. "Still can't shed that trickster image?"
no subject
He grins and gestures to the seat again.
"As for this, it's another little experiment. I always try to give David something he's never gotten before. He quite liked the little virgin boy I cooked up the last time, and I'm sure he'll be amused with my next trick. I'm rather good at them, you see."
[and I have to go for some time...slowtime?]
no subject
"You know, he told me about you on Mardi Gras. He was so excited." Lestat shrugs. "He seemed almost in love, actually."
[ooc: Slowtime is fine! One of my other characters seems about to get eaten alive, I think he could do with my help. Mwa! Don't mind the Brat Prince, that's about as close to a compliment he ever gives any of David's lovers. *snogs*]
no subject
He smirks.
"And yes, he was excited that I was to meet you as well, you know. I will admit to being nervous for some, considering, but I find this a refreshing manner of meeting...well, someone like yourself."
