...check the username, folks.
David walks in, a large, leather-bound copy of Paradise Lost in his hands. He takes a look around, obviously hoping to see someone, before sighing tiredly and settling down by the couches to read.
[ooc: another Loki-trick for David, but wander over into the fun and watch me flail. Loki's not the only one hoping he gets it right...]

"Milton. Old, but always good."
He peers at Charlie with a smile and a touch of concern.
"How does the morning find you, Charlie?"

"I'm sorry to say I haven't been in much, and when I have, well, I seem to head home as soon as a certain someone shows up."
no subject
He adds after a moment, "About the other night. I'm sorry I fell apart on you. I'm not dealing with this whole--thing--well."

David nods, full of sympathy. He reaches out as if to touch, to stroke in comfort, but seems unsure if it would be welcome.
"I know. It's all right. None of us are handling it well, and it's understandable that you're in the worst shape of all, Love. Considering..."

"You should know who I am and what I did to David isn't fit to be discussed when children could be present."
no subject
".....Loki? What...what happened? Did you and David trade bodies?"
no subject
"Nothing like that. Just a game. Did... I... tell you about 'Mark' the other day?"
no subject
He's still unsettled, but he's calmer now, and not shouting.
no subject
"Yes."
He smiles.

Thoughts of David have stopped hurting and are nothing but pleasant again - and there might be more magic? Some kisses? Magic and kisses? Magic with kisses?
"Hello, David," he says.
no subject
"Hello, love. What brings you round this morning?"
no subject
"Gil needed to go back to work, and there's only that many walks I can talk, and there is always pleasure to be had in your company, David, be it magic, kisses, or whatever."
Let's no longer mention the times when there was less than pleasure between them.
no subject
"Well, I'm glad to hear that, certainly. So which would you prefer: magic or kisses or whatever?"
no subject
"Why not both, or perhaps first one, and then the other - a rune, a kiss, a rune, a kiss," Asar-Suti grins.
"Where were we when Loki turned up and you had to spalsh him with water - I think I was going to borrow a grimoire and let you try any random rune out of it to see if you can do it?"
no subject
"Certainly sounds like a plan. But no helping. I want to get it right myself."
He laughs.
"Which is funny since I can't even remember where we ended. Wait...oh, yes, Loki showed me lightning right after you left."

However, it seems safe enough so he goes to the blackboard to write up the specials. He promises himself he'll speak to David later - unless David and Sooty slip away together - and who could blame them? He sighs. He couldn't.

There's no mental link between a vampire and their maker. But Lestat knows David well enough...
no subject
David smiles.
"I don't know, Lestat. Each time I reread it I'm almost convinced, and then I get to the end with all the hissing."
He laughs and gestures to the seat next to him.
no subject
Lestat sits next to 'David,' close enough. He kisses him, and nuzzles in his neck. "Fee, fie, foo, fum, I smell the blood of an Englishma-" He narrows his eyes. "Or rather, I don't."
no subject
"I'm just a little Norse boy, lost on his way."
He laughs and smiles at Lestat.
"Though you're welcome to continue with all the rest of it. I missed you on Mardi Gras. Something of a disappointment. A pleasure to meet you, Lestat."
no subject
Yeah. He's still not grasped that David had two Lokis.
no subject
"God, actually. Norse God. Though I have got wings, normally. And yes, my name is Loki. It's caused more confusion than you'd think."
He holds a hand out to Lestat.
"And really, no cause for alarm, sir. I'm quite friendly. Exceedingly so."
Oh, the grin he gives. Tis a naughty naughty grin.
