There's an Ace! In the bar! Yes, I know it's been done.
She's at the bar itself, reading yet another book (thank goodness this one doesn't involve time travel), and sipping on a drink that looks vaugely purple, in certain lights.
She probably won't bite if approached.

(ooc: Mun is attempting to get life in order before her flight tomorrow, so replies will be slow for most of the night. Please distract me from packing!)

"I really wish I had known that on Valentine's Day."

"You could have asked." Ace points out, helpfully. "At that point, I prolly would have chattered on about anything." She hates her fair complexion now. Really, truely.

"I didn't want to give you any ideas. I was almost afraid to move while you were...clinging to me."

Ace gives him a narrow look.
"I was loony, not suicidal. I'd rather not get blown up by my own handiwork, thankyou."

"How was I supposed to know how you would react when you had gone apparently insane?"

"You could have called over security, you know." Ace neatly dodges the question.

"I had been quite sure that you could have blown them up, too."

Ace snorts, doing her darnedest not to laugh.
"Yeah. 'Cause that'd go over really well with my boyfriend." She agrees cheerfully.

"At that moment, you didn't seem too concerned about him," KARR can't help but point out.

"No..." She's beginning to think she might get out-logicked by a computer. A highly sophisticated, more-intelligent-than-human computer, but still... It hurt her professional pride.
"But I have it on good authority that even when mostly loopy, I still follow predictable behavior patterns." Boy, didn't that sound official? Yeah, she thought so too, when the Doctor had explained it too her.

"Well, I don't know you well enough to know your behaviro patterns, now do I?"

"Predictable human patterns." Ace corrects, mentally berating herself for leaving that out. "Like not blowing oneself up."

"Personally, I would never completely trust a human to not do that." KARR chuckles quietly to himself, his scanner flicking back and forth steadily.

"You can usually trust a pyro." Ace informs him, however incorrectly. "We like to see things go up in flame, not be the thing that goes up in flame."

"Unfortunately, that could still leave me as a potential target."

"And you're how much faster than me?" Ace asks, curiously. "Besides, if you really saw me as that much of a threat, why not take me out? Should be simple enough for someone with as much armor as you."

"It would all depend on if you surprised me or not, really. As for taking you ought-honestly I'd rather not, because for some strange reason I find you tolerable at the very least, and I have the feeling security still might come down on me for having another patron's various body parts and the like on my prow."

Ace staaaaares.
"You're the most highly advanced AI I've ever seen or heard about, and you don't know any non-lethal methods of taking someone out of the game for a while?" She's back to wondering what sort of sadists created Kitt and Karr, anyway. Crazy ones, from the sound of it.

"If you were about to blow me up, I most definitely wouldn't want to switch to human form, and I probably wouldn't have much time to react fast enough to...I don't know, hit you with a door panel. I don't even know how effectively that could really be, especially considering someone could use it as an opportunity to get into my cabin. Really, running into someone is the safest method if they're trying to kill you, I think."

"Hang about... you can change into human form too?" Ace is utterly distracted from the argument at hand. Ah well.

"Yes. Kitt gave me the coding for it several weeks ago." His scanner fades out for a moment. Apparently, human form isn't a happy subject for him.

"Oh dear." Ace has come to realize that Karr's scanner light is a fairly good predictor of mood. That didn't look good at all. "Did I say sommat wrong?"

"No, it's just that human form hasn't been a particularly pleasant experience for me. Even getting drunk led to this damned hangover."

Ace stares.
"You became human... so you could get drunk? There are decidedly better things you could do with yourself." She observes, drily. "And have you checked to see if any of the magic users in the bar have a cure? Seems like a rather useful thing for them to know."

KARR's scanner reappears, tracking back and forth slowly. "At the time, being drunk was far more preferable than being sober. And no, I haven't asked any of the magic users for a cure yet. I did ask Tony for suggestions, though."
