There's an Ace! In the bar! Yes, I know it's been done.
She's at the bar itself, reading yet another book (thank goodness this one doesn't involve time travel), and sipping on a drink that looks vaugely purple, in certain lights.
She probably won't bite if approached.

(ooc: Mun is attempting to get life in order before her flight tomorrow, so replies will be slow for most of the night. Please distract me from packing!)

Ace stares blankly, then shudders.
"I think I'll skip that year. And the surrounding ones. That sounds horrid." She shakes her head - when fashion gets back around to leather jackets, she'll veture back into the fashion world. Until then...
"No, not many. We just happened to be in the area when the celebration started."

"On Earth?" Kim's fascinated. "It's not so bad. Although, actually, a lot of terrible things happen from 2004-2008 so I might avoid those years too."

Ace thinks.
"No... I think it was the Mars colony." She blinks. "And you didn't hear that from me." Idly she wonders if the 'don't tell the future to those who still have to live it' rule applies here.

"I won't tell anyone. The only people who would believe me would be the alien obsessed ones anyway. And I don't talk to them."

"How far have you gone?"

"I think we got pretty close to the end, once... and I know we almost hit Event One at one point, nearly tore the TARDIS to pieces." That had not been a fun day. "And we've done a bit of sideways in time as well... now that can make you a bit nutty, for sure."

"The end?" she gapes a little. "You mean the end. Of the universe?" Too large a concept to really understand. "Sideways?"

Ace grins.
"Yeah, that's what I said. The Doctor was quite adamant about it. And since I'm fairly sure the Germans lost World War II, I'm inclined to believe him."

Kim nods, not really understanding what she means. "Germans?"

"Yeah..." Ace looks at her curiously, wondering if this gal wasn't from yet another version of Earth, one without Germans. "You know, nazis, liked ruling Europe, that sort of thing?"

"No, I mean, the Germans...Nazis did lose WWII. They lost. The allies won."

"Not where we landed they didn't." Ace grins. "We had to search for days to find the British underground movement. It got rather annoying, ducking out of sight every time a patrol wandered by."

"You mean like an alternate version of history?" Kim had heard this theory in a class but hadn't thought it at all possible. She thinks for a moment. "Are we from the same Earth?"
