David enters the bar carefully. Asks the bar for a pint of Guinness. Makes his way to the couches and sits, carefully, on a cushionpile.
He dozes lightly. Go poke him.
He dozes lightly. Go poke him.
no subject
"Good Lord, quit poking me. I had quite enough of that last night."
no subject
"You...what?"
no subject
"I think we outdid the Kama Sutra."
no subject
David...David...that's lovely. I'm...assuming he's...better?
no subject
"Much better."
And he'd laugh, but he's afraid he'd rupture something. But for the love of little green apples, look at the grin on his face like the cat that got the Sunday chicken.

He grins and sits carefully next to David, offering the goblet, and a slightly turned throat, to David should he want them.
no subject
Mmm... thank you.
And it's just a moment later he swipes his tongue up the vein and sinks his teeth in.
no subject
"You looked like you could use it, David. Exhausted, anyway."
no subject
A soft smile and a laugh against his skin.
I never thought anyone could exhaust me.
no subject
He sighs happily and sips on his own drink, pleased enough to find David as happy as he is. But he hasn't told David the news.
"Guess what I'm doing later today, David?"
no subject
"Don't keep me in suspense. I'm no good at guessing games."
He sits back, snuggling into Nick's side.
no subject
There's a bright smile on his face.

Like the teacher's home phone number.
"By the light of the sun."
no subject
He blinks.
no subject
"I'm still inflammable...but only if the sun hits me. I...was given a gift last night, David."
He mutters another word and the dark haze disappears, leaving him as he was.
"I get to see Alex in the daylight, David. I get to see it again."
no subject
David's not jealous; he can't be. He saw the sun and gave it up, again and again.
no subject
He thinks.
"Were you and I friends at that point, David? I don't remember. But he came in...and instantly attacked me with his magic, thinking I was his brother since we share...blue eyes and blonde hair. It was...a rough night and while I'd forgiven him...apparently he felt the need to make it up to me."
no subject
He touches Nick's cheek. "If I could ever be glad someone attacked you, this could be it."
He grins.
no subject
"Yes, I could...say the same. He's...a kind man, actually, for all of his...roughness. I'll have to do something nice for him sometime...if I could ever figure out something nice for him. Seems a bit beyond me."
no subject
I couldn't be happier for you.
no subject
"Figuring out what to do for him."
Thank you, David.
no subject
He leans into Nick.
"So, what's on the menu for your darling's picnic?"
no subject
He smiles.
"I'll ask the Bar for a picnic basket for the rest of it."
