He shrugs. "Suit yourself." And turns back to his coffee.

Faith eyes him for a minute, then shrugs, hops down off her stool, and sits on him instead, sideways on his lap. "Always do," she says softly, and procures her own cup of coffee from the bar.

"Oh, so now, after stealing my coffee, you think you get to sit on my lap?"

Nope, he can't hold the glare-smirk.

"Took you long enough," he mumbles into his coffee cup.

Faith smirks. And wriggles. Just a little.

Connor just twitches an eyebrow and drinks his coffee... or so it seems to the casual observer. To the not-so-casual, the fingers of his free hand are sliding beneath her shirt to touch skin.

Faith leans back against him, humming softly, shifting her weight and sipping her coffee. Mmm, coffee. Strong, sweet, potent, and good at keeping you up all night.

"Is this where I ask you all the questions that have really bad and depressing answers? Or where I find out how undressed you'd rather be and we go upstairs?"

Faith makes a thoughtful noise, then puts her coffee down, turns slightly and puts her arms around his neck.

He kisses her. "I'll take that to mean the latter."

He manages to stand up and wrap her legs around his waist in the coolest bit of shifting ever and, pressing his lips to hers, carries her upstairs.
