"So, what do you do when you're skipping around in time, then?"

"Well, I do knit on the rare occasion. Hats mostly."

"Hm. Correcting small glitches here and there. Helping people. Learning everything I can learn since I'll never be able to learn everything. I like the infinite possibilities time travel provides."

He gets an idea. "You should knit one of those hats for a different friend of mine. She'll kill me, but it'll be fun." And a sly grin passes over his face.

Romana raises an eyebrow and looks amused. "Oh? What sort of hat?"

"Oh, I don't know. Surprise me. While you're at it, make two. Matching." He rests his chin in his hand a moment. "Three would be better. I'll pay you. Or trade. Something from my world. It'll be good."

He takes a peek at the time. "Now, if you'll excuse me, I have to go relocate my... girlfriend." And he's never called Faith that before. "It has been an absolute pleasure talking to you. You can leave notes with the bar, if you need to get in touch with me. I don't seem to leave all that much anymore." He grins and dashes off to find Faith.
