Alex. Bar. Booth. Book. Tea. Add some verbs an' stuff and you might get a full sentence, whee!
The mun blames the sugar-high for the incoherent.

He grins and sends a rather interesting image across the bloodlink.
"Or I could bribe you."
no subject
"That's an idea. I suppose."
A sly grin.
no subject
And does not send another image, of course not.no subject
And he definitely doesn't send him a full color, sound, taste feel rendition of last night. Nope.no subject
"I walked alone in foggy dew
Just me and my memories
A voice out seaward beckons thru
A whistle of love for me, for me
A whistle of love for me..."

He's still working, smiling, and flicking a look to Alex every few seconds.

"Provencal. Ancient, really, but I've got a love of Daniel's work that I can't seem to shake. They were songs my mother would sing to me, ones she'd loved."
He ducks his head, smiling at Alex.
"I'm probably one of the only people to still know the melody. They were written down but...the actual music for the songs has been lost, unfortunately. Only...old fossils like myself still know them."
no subject
He grins and tilts his head a little, baring the bitemark for a brief instant.
"You're certainly active, for an 'old fossil'..."
no subject
"I've always loved it. It's...much closer to the french of my youth than the modern French, really."
He smiles at Alex then, reaching across to ghost a hand over the mark.
"And I suppose I am but...maybe it's all the young blood."
no subject
"You're welcome to the young blood whenever you feel like it..."
no subject
But he keeps his finger upon the mark, sliding along it gently before looking to Alex.
"You...really don't mind my mark on you? And...."
Now he looks sheepish again.
"Well, I'm sorry about the bruises."
no subject
He smiles, taking Nick's hand and kissing the knuckles.
"I like your mark on me. And I don't mind the bruises."
no subject
"I...I didn't mean to. I was a little...well, out of it by that point. I'll be more careful next time."
no subject
no subject
"What?"
no subject
I kind of get off on pain, Nick... not a significant amount, obviously, but a little, like the biting, and the amount it takes to bruise, like my wrists...
Feardoubtapprehension echoes in the bloodlink.

Alex? I'm a vampire...that's...that sort of thing is sort of standard. We're a little too strong to...manage to make it through such things without a little pain. I've been...holding back because I didn't want to hurt you.
Lovecomfortunderstandinglustaffection echoes right back.

Like what?
No judgement. Just curious.
no subject
Like... well, do you remember some of the images I showed you last night? With me being restrained? That sort of thing. Games of domination, sometimes...
no subject
A roll of the eyes.
"Alex...I..."
Finally, a little frustrated, he gets up and moves to slide in on the other side of the booth, next to Alex, pulling him into a deep, possessive kiss.
Mine.
"Alex...why didn't you just...ask?"
no subject
A sigh, and he's not looking at Nick.
no subject
Two fingers are under his chin, tilting his face up to meet Nick's eyes.
"Alex. Explain. Now."
Love you. Want this fixed.
Love. Caring. Understanding.

"Roger was the first man I slept with. He was the one who introduced me to all of that sort of thing, the pain and the submission and everything."
He hesitates, biting his lip.
I thought maybe... maybe he fucked me up worse than I thought. Nobody else I've slept with has been like that.
