*He bats quickly at her hand again, playfully.* So I have heard. It has been keeping me awake. Mine is the corner in the corridor between the Staff wing and the kitchen. You people are loud.

I recognised that sound easily. Much too early in the morning.

"It's always too early in the morning for ex-turtles to scream like girls," she states.

*He yawns, bored.* Especially when it keeps me from getting my required eighteen hours of sleep.

She rubs the top of his nose with her thumb.

"Should probably exact bloody revenge. I would."

[mogget_cat]

*He sneezes. Cutely. Mention that and die.*

Well, to do that, first I would have to find who caused the ex-turtle to scream like a girl.

"That'll be his own ninja-like inability to distinguish between nails and his own thumb."

Well, then. One ex-turtle from which to exact bloody revenge. What about all the other noises that kept me up?

"Kinda noises?" Innocently.

[mogget_cat]

*He sees right through her innocent look, being a master of them, himself.* Building noises, yelling, the like.

"Ah, yes, the men can be loud.

"Me, I've just been carryin' things."

That is odd, then. I was quite sure I heard your voice, as well.

"Really? What was it sayin'?"

[mogget_cat]

I could not distinguish over the construction sounds, but it sounded indignant, or at least mocking.

"Couldn'ta bin me, then. I never mock," she deadpans.

*matching her tone* And you are never sarcastic.

"Sometimes I'm sarcastic," she concedes.

*Yrael looks shocked.* I'd never believe it!

"But you would be too if you'd watched a ninja whack his own thumb with a hammer, I'm sure."

*primly* I would politely hold myself to mocking laughter, rather than sarcasm.

"You underestimate the true greatness of sarcasm."

No. I have had long enough to know when to use it, and when to reserve it. Use it too much, and its greatness fades.
