*Meg is ~~brooding~~ ~~sulking~~ sitting in the bar looking quite reasonable. With coffee.*

"Meg. Please. Explain. Or at least warn me if *everyone* is going to have this reaction."

...there may be puppy eyes involved.

*Meg sighs, and relents.*

All right. 'To do' is generally a sort of generic verb meaning to take an action, right?

Er. But it's also a specific action, under the right circumstances, and the specific action is one that I really don't want to have to describe, tu comprends?

"...no?"

Awww, look, there go the completely innocence puppy dog eyes again.

*Meg does a small mental headdesk.*

Think birds and bees, Anakin.

"What? What do those have to do with anything?"

*Meg tries another tack.*

Er. Where do babies come from, Anakin?

"...oh." Eyes widen. "Oh!"

He would consider this more, but he's been distracted by a shiny new topic. "Guess what? Padme's pregnant! Do you want to be an honorary aunt-sister-thing?"

*Meg giggles.* You told me, and yes, I would love to be!

"Good! Since it's twins, we're going to need all the help we can get."

Why, no, the Jedi is not bouncing. Not even a little.

...ok, maybe a little.

*Meg beams.* I promise to take care of them whenever you need a babysitter - I used to babysit for Snow all the time, I can totally handle a couple of jedi twins.

*Little does she know . . .*

"Well, they shouldn't be much trouble, not at first. And when they get older, the need for a baby-sitter should decrease."

Anakin, really, this stay-at-home-dad thing? Not one of your brighter ideas.

*Meg brightens even more.*

I can teach them ballet!

*Jedi ballerinas. Brilliant, Meg.*

"Well, we're still not sure of the sexes, but all right." Anakin assumes all ballerinas are female, since Meg is the prime example of the species as far as he knows.

The mun says that Jedi ballerinas are slightly better than Aes Sedai ballerinas. 'Cause you know, balletfire? Is pure crack.

*Because everything else around here isn't?*

Oh, boys can be ballerinas too, *Meg assures him brightly.* They don't usually wear the tutus, though.

"That's a relief, honestly."

Little does Anakin know that the twins are both girls. Double the tutu'd fun!

Not to limit anyone, *Meg adds hastily, and beams.* I got Nick in a tutu the other day -

"Really, Meg, it's all right. Not *everyone* needs to wear a tutu."

*Meg looks crestfallen.*

But I'm getting such a nice collection of photographs! I'm thinking I could publish an art book.

"That's very nice. I'll be sure to buy a copy if you do."

If it's not out of print by the time your time comes around, *Meg says sadly.*

"You could always bring a copy here, and I'll pay you."

*Meg giggles.* You can get it for free, *she says generously.* I'll even sign it!

"How nice of you. I look forward to it."
