Charlie enters the wear, wearing a green t-shirt that reads "Tis Himself" in gold Celtic-like letters.

His hair is also green.

Please don't ask him to sing "Dannyboy". He might hurt you.

"Erm. Yeah." He smiles faintly and closes the curtain. "We're safe, though. There's . . . well, there's a lot of stuff at work to keep us safe from the it."

*She turns back to him*

How is this possible? How did we get here? I mean, one minute I was on the island and the next.....I was here.

"Magic?" Charlie guesses to all three. "I came through a tree. Sawyer comes through a cave, I think."

I came through a tangle of vines. This is all so surreal.

"It is," Charlie agrees. "Let's get you a drink and something to eat. Come on, it's time for you to meet Bar."

Meet the bar?

*She follows him*

"This," he lays his hand lightly on the surface of the bar, "is Bar. She's sentient--she can hear what people say, and see, I'm not entirely sure how, and react to things that happen. She can provide you with just about anything and she'll let you run quite a tab, as you can see," he adds, gesturing to his own name on the tab board.

"I recommend the fried paradoxes if you want a snack. Everybody's tastes different, or so I've heard. Mine taste like apple pie and whipped cream."

I think I might be dreaming. I mean....this doesn't happen.

"A lot of things happen here that you don't think are possible. Go ahead, ask it for something."

*She leans close to the bar and speaks as if she is talking to a deaf person*

C--Can I have a glass of water?

*It appears*

*She gasps and takes a step away from the bar*

H--How?

"Magic," Charlie says, grinning.

*Then it hits her*

Do they have a phone?! We could call for help! We could get rescued!

He hates to disappoint her, but--"No. There's no phone.

"Even if we could call someone, we still couldn't tell him where we are--we don't know where we are. We can't say, 'Come pick us up at the end of the universe', they'd laugh themselves stupid."

But we could tell them where the island is. If we had a phone, I mean.

*She seems to depress visibly and takes a drink of her water*

'We could. If we knew where the island was. Which we don't.

"Have a meal, Sun. The first drink is on the house. You'll feel better with a full stomach."

I can't stay, I have to go find Jin, if he will talk to me.

*She starts to leave, and then stops and turns*

Thank you, Charlie.

"You're welcome."

He hesitates a moment. "Don't be surprised if he doens't believe you. But come back if you can. This is a place of rest and refuge, and we all need it.

"Take care."

*She smiles and nods and heads out the front door, back into the jungles of the island*
