Charlie enters the wear, wearing a green t-shirt that reads "Tis Himself" in gold Celtic-like letters.

His hair is also green.

Please don't ask him to sing "Dannyboy". He might hurt you.

There is a small god sitting with his back to the piano, peering up at him.

"I like the hair."

"Thanks. I think the Bar is having a laugh at me." He runs a hand through it, grinning. "Not that I mind."

He smiles.

"Nothing wrong with a laugh, really. I like them myself."

He holds up an arm, little hand offered for a shake.

"I don't think we've met before..."

"Don't think so either." He shakes the boy's hand. "I'm Charlie. Are you new here?"

Liam is sitting somewhere near the bar, with a potted shamrock in front of him.

Charlie is at the piano, not playing 'Dannyboy'; and for some reason Liam's shamrock in a pot makes him play 'Tie a Yellow Ribbon 'Round The Old Oak Tree.'

It doesn't have to make sense. It just has to be.

"Didn't know you were Irish. My grandmother was, but I never think of myself as such."

"Charlie-boy!" Bob calls from his perch on the bar.

"Bob!" He sits on a stool in front of Bob.

"Hello, Charlie!" Asar-Suti pokes his head out of the entrance to the staff quarters, where he is helping with the renovations.

"Are you celebrating the Erinnish holiday as well? Irish, I mean."

"I am," he says with some pride. "Or the Bar has decided to remind me. My mother's people are from Ireland, I think that prompted this."

"Very green," Asar-Suti agrees. "Should I try something Erinnish to drink? Irish, I mean. Blais, who's from Erinn, which is the equivalent to Ireland on my world, likes his drink a lot. And his wenches."

"Sun? Sun!" He stands and looks at her with amazement. "Hi--did you just get here? Are you okay?"

The green hair suddenly feels a bit ridiculous.

Sara's not Irish. But she is wearing green nail polish. Isn't everyone Irish on this day? She gives Charlie a smile as he walks by.

She raises her glass of whatever the Bar put in her hand--she really isn't sure--at him. "Nice hair."
