Charlie enters the wear, wearing a green t-shirt that reads "Tis Himself" in gold Celtic-like letters.

His hair is also green.

Please don't ask him to sing "Dannyboy". He might hurt you.

"No, no, no. No. He loves you. It's not that. Just . . . we're comfortable with each other."

"And I'm letting you know that I know that relationship makes you both happy. And you never have to worry bout me meddling in it. And...I hope that we might be friends, after a fashion."

Charlie leans his head on his hand and says quietly, "There is the issue that I'm in love with someone other than David. That he's not here just makes things more complicated."

He nods.

"Sex with David," Charlie goes on, "is mostly about comforting each other. When he was hurt that's what I could do for him, to make him feel desirable and strong. And now that I'm--" He exhales. "That's what he does for me. Comforts me."

He nods again.

"I understand that. David is very comforting. I..."

He looks away.

"I don't know what to say except that I understand."

Charlie's head is still leaning on his hand. He whispers, "I'm using him terribly, aren't I."

"I can't judge, Charlie. I very rarely do. I'm not the god for such things. I'm sorry."

He reaches a hand up to brush against Charlie's face.

"But I'm not...unfamiliar with missing those I love. My family was taken from me a very long time ago...and I've only recently regained them."

Charlie nods and turns his head a little into the touch. ~~Silly puppy.~~

Loki looks up to him, eyes swirling blue and green, wings white.

Sit with me a while, Charlie? I'm not your angel, nor the one that bares my name, but...hopefully a friend.

Yes, I will.

He stands, sits next to Charlie on the bench, wraps an arm around him, and stays.
