Claire is by the fire. She is reading to Seth from Winnie-the-Pooh. Seth is pretending to focus on the moving pictures. Really though he's just trying to break his own record of five consecutive spit bubbles.

Suprised, but not so surprised to see Sun Hurley responds, "Well we are here here, I've met Charlie, and have heard that Sayid, Sawyer and Walt have been here but I haven't seen them. How long have you been here for? Time is a bit strange as you can see," he said looking at Claire's month old baby.

Claire looks up with a startled smile. "Hey, You can speak English?"

You didn't know either?

"Uh, as I said before things are weird here, everyone is on a different timeline. Since I, uh, know you speak English I think yours is similar to mine."

How long have you two been here?

"I've been here two months. And this is my son Seth." She beams. "He's almost a month old."

"This is my second time here, I've sometimes happen to pop in here at random." He glanced at the door to the bar, "Do you see that door over there? From what I have heard, some can see it some can't. Those who can't see it are stuck here, those who can see it can leave."

*She looks over and sees a door*

I can see it.

*She moves toward the baby*

He's adorable.

"Actually some can see it and still can't leave." Claire clarifies with a smile. "I think people are brought here for protection. And as long as you're in danger you can't leave. I never even tried, to be honest. Seems like a much safer place to have a baby then the island."

She grins at Sun. "Thank you. Would you like to hold him?"

Hurley looks at Claire happy that she had clarified things regarding the door. He really didn't want to think about what he was being protected from.

*She looks to Claire and smiles*

Is that alright?

"Absolutely." She shifts the baby carefully into Sun's arms. Seth tenses for a moment at the new contact and then squeaks happily.

"So. . " She says looking at both of them. "Sayid, Sawyer, Walt, Shannon, Charlie of course, and us. That's pretty good. I'll be glad when we're all safe again."

"I will be glad too" responded Hurley, not sure whether or not he wanted to pass through the door again. There were a number magical people around here, who might be able to help him with certain questions.

*She holds Seth in her arms and smiles*

I always wanted children.

Claire nods at Hurley. "I don't even know if I can leave but I know that I probably won't ever try."

To Sun she smiles. "You know, I never really did. Not until I knew him."

"Oh," responded Hurley, in all honesty a bit relieved. He didn't want to know what would happen if this version of Claire were to leave.

*She gently rocks Seth and smiles down at him*

I still hope to have children someday. After we get off that horrible island.

"We just have such a beautiful family here now. There's no reason to leave." She answers honestly.

To Sun she smiles, "Well, for everybody's sake I hope that day comes very soon. We tried to figure out a way to locate the island for others, but we couldn't come up with any ideas."

"Well congratulations on your family," said Hurley now more seriously considering staying here.

Yes, congratulations. Though I am still unsure of how this is all happening.

Claire smiles. "This is how it happened for me. After I was kidnapped I escaped and Charlie's friend brought me back here." ~~She conveniently leaves out all the weird plot contradictions.~~

"I fainted or something when I first got here and was in a sort of coma for a few weeks. Then when I woke up so many people here took me in and took care of me, I just never wanted to leave."

She glances around the room happily. "Almost everyone here is so nice. They've given me everything I need to raise Seth properly."

"That is nice," he said looking into Sun's eyes, a look sudden understanding upon his face. He should probably discuss this with her later.

While happy, he thought it was pretty weird. Did this have anything to do with her current condition and not remembering anything about what happened during her ordeal with Ethan?

*She smiles and hands Seth back to Claire carefully*

It's getting late, I should probably go find Jin.

"It is getting late." She agrees. "I'm going to take him on up to bed."

She stands, cradling Seth in her arms as gathers up his baby bag and book. "I'll see you two soon."

She smiles again and heads towards the stairs.
