Claire is by the fire. She is reading to Seth from Winnie-the-Pooh. Seth is pretending to focus on the moving pictures. Really though he's just trying to break his own record of five consecutive spit bubbles.

Upon seeing Claire, Hurley walks over, somewhat shocked to see her with child who looks at least a month old.

"Hey Claire," he greets her.

She looks up and smiles a huge smile. "Hurley! You found this place."

"I stumbled in a few days ago, or what feels like a few days ago. I've heard that time is different here," he said eying the small child Claire was holding, "so who is this?" he asked

She motions for him to join her on the couch. "This is my son, Seth."

She grins and shifts the baby in her arms so Hurley can get a better look. "He's almost a month old."

And there's a baby. And it's cute. Kaylee hadn't been this close to a baby in...well longer than she can remember, that's for sure. She can't help but smile (but wait, this is Kaylee...she always smiles).

"Is that your baby? He's awful cute."

CLaire looks up from the book and smiles. "Thank you. And yes, he's my son. His name is Seth. And I'm Claire."

She nods at the empty space beside her on the couch for her to join them. "Are you new here?"

She sits down. "Me? I'm Kaylee. It's nice ta meet ya. I ain't new really. I jus' come'n go."

Hurley moves down as much as he can for maximum space on the couch to allow for the new chick to sit down. He looked at her and smiled, "I'm Hurley."

"That's a pretty name." Claire smiles at Kaylee. "I've been her for a few months now. I guess right at two. I live upstairs."

"Hey Claire." An Ace appears at the fireside. She's got her mug of cocoa, of course, and some soda bread. Don't ask me why she thinks soda bread tastes good with cocoa. She just does.

"Ace," She smiles and looks her friend over. "You look like you're feeling better today."

She nods at the space beside her for Ace to join them.

Ace slides onto the couch, nibbling on her soda bread. Mmmm, soda bread.
"Tim gave me some stuff. Knocked me out like a two by four. Just without the concussion." She beams at Seth, trying to see if he'll latch onto her hand again.

"Well, I'm glad you got some sleep." She smiles warmly. Seth, for his part, does latch onto Ace and quite enthusiastically.

"Would you like to hold him again?"

*Snow approaches and passes Claire a flat package*

Hey, Claire. How are you tonight?

"Hey, Snow." She grins, taking the package from her with her free hand. "Is this what I think it is?"

Claire nods, excitedly if not somewhat guiltily. "Awesome."

She juggles the baby in her arms as she opens the package. She stares at the picture a moment before collapsing in giggles. "Poor Sawyer" maybe be detectable but then, maybe not.

Bethany leans over in her chair and smiles at Seth.

"Who's this little guy?"

"Bethany, right?" She grins. "I haven't seen you since he was born. This is Seth."

She beams.

She nods and gives Seth a finger to grip.

"Nice to meet you, Seth."

Seth wobbles his head, maybe in reply, maybe not.

Claire notices the tiny baby belly. "Ah, are things going okay?"

"Hey." It's Hawkins! He's staring at the spit-bubbly Seth, because he hasn't seen babies who do that. Actually, he hasn't seen many living babies at all.

She stops reading and looks up with a grin. "Hey Ben. How are you?"

"Good." He gave her and the babeh a small smile. "You don't look too sharp- been keepin' you up, has he?"

She nods. "He's been better the past few days. He was being fussy before that though."
