Claire is by the fire. She is reading to Seth from Winnie-the-Pooh. Seth is pretending to focus on the moving pictures. Really though he's just trying to break his own record of five consecutive spit bubbles.

Did the spell work?

She nods. "It did, I think. He couldn't leave the bar with Seth. And there were too many people around him trying to get him back, so he eventually handed him back to Charlie and tried to escape."

"And then things got pretty bad." She looks away for a moment, and tehn offers a small smile to Snow. "But I think it's been taken care of now."

Ah. Well, I guess this sort of thing is just bound to happen every so often. If you need him tossed in a cell -- and from the sound of things, he deserves one -- just come to Bigby or I, or any member of Security.

"He's dead." She says and then smiles weakly. "But thank you."

. . . not in the bar, I hope.

She shakes her head no. "No, Charl-, the others chased him back to the island."

*Snow relaxes*

In that case, congratulations.

Claire smiles thinly. "It. . .is a relief. But it's created some other problems now."

She hesitates a moment, but then decides Snow's probably the closest thing she's got to a best friend. "Charlie killed him, see. And now he's having trouble dealing with it."

*Snow pulls Claire into a hug*

God. That's . . . shit, it's better that he's not around to go after Seth, but poor Charlie. . .

She hugs her back and then pulls away with a sad smile. "Yeah. It's awful for Charlie. And he's so freaked out he can't even be near Seth for very long without Seth getting upset."

She sighs. "Asar-Suti, do you know him? He offered to take Charlie and I anywhere we wanted to go. I think we might be taking him up on that soon. We need to get away for a night or two."

*Snow nods*

That sounds like an excellent plan. You need some time to yourselves, as something with a newborn around even if the situation weren't as it is.

She nods as well. "Charlie's been so depressed over so many things. I really would like to see him happy, even if it were just for a night."

Of course. I could take Seth for a day or so, if you want even more time.

She nods. "I might consider that, that you. I think you're definitely one of the few people I'd trust with him."

She grins. "I met that little boy that was staying with you. He was very sweet."

James? Yes, he was adorable. He went home a while ago, but left a nice note.

*she notes the time*

It's getting late; I should head back to tuck the kids in. Goodnight, Claire.

"Okay." She grins. "Goodnight Snow."
