Claire is by the fire. She is reading to Seth from Winnie-the-Pooh. Seth is pretending to focus on the moving pictures. Really though he's just trying to break his own record of five consecutive spit bubbles.

Claire laughs, perhaps somewhat unexpectedly. "I do believe that. That's not the strangest thing I've heard here. Although that must have been quite a shock to you."

She has a goofy smile on her face.

Claire raises an eye at the goofy smile but doesn't pry. "Have you noticed anything strange about your pregnancy?"

She shakes her head. "Nope, everything's gone according to plan. Very quiet. But it's only my first trimester."
