Sara has put her things away the room and placed a few personal effects around.

"Strange...this place seems more like home than my apartment ever did."

With a slight shrug, she gets dressed for the day. Jeans and a black Talk Nerdy To Me shirt. She wanders downstairs into the bar for breakfast.

"Anchor?" Kim isn't sure what she means.

"Well, place a lake outside. In an area that's permanently outside of time and space."

"Yeah that kind of confuses me too. How there can be...atmosphere and growing things in a place that exists at the end of the universe."

She shrugs. "And how can a Bar be sentient? The world will never know."

"This place is just a giant mystery. And the bar has a wicked sense of humor so I wouldn't be surprised if Grissom you said? shows up."

"Which would be just what I need. Don't get me wrong, I love the guy to death. But...I don't need dealing with him right now."

Is it Sara, or is the theme from Jaws being piped in from the back?

[ooc: hee, my friend is like OMG must resist apping Grissom...]

"The bar brought in my dad, my ex-boss, some old co-workers and my boyfriend...the less you wanna see someone the more likely it is they'll show up."

[ooc: I applied to play him. :P I'm so mean to Sara.}

"Wonderful. I hope the bar can supply me with tequila."

[ooc: Lots of talking to yourself ;)]

"Oh, it can supply you with anything you want to drink."

[ooc: what's wrong with that? ;)]

"I'm gonna need it." She grins again.

[ooc: hee. easy to control plots.]

"I made the mistake of drinking *way* too much a few days ago and...not for a long time."

[ooc: exactly! ;)]

Sara winces. "Been there, done that. Never a fun experience."

[ooc: still my friend's a HUGE CSI fan - she plays Jack on here.]

"It seems like a *really* good idea at the time. Until you wake up."

[ooc: hey, if she gets the part, that's fine with me. I just don't want Grissom causing Sara unnecessary problems. You saw how he was when she was dating that Hank guy.--And which Jack?]

She snickers. "I understand, believe me. It always seems like a good idea. Then you're praying to the porcelain god."

[ooc: Kim's dad Jack. You should talk to her/him :)]

Kim nods, remembering *that* morning. "Or food is suddenly something your body doesn't want to deal with."

[ooc: Hmmm...I'll have to, then. And if s/he really wants to play Grissom, and I get the part, I'll give him/her the journal I created for the part. :)]

Sara winces in agreement. "Food suddenly being your mortal enemy. Along with gravity. And moving people."

[ooc: I'm sure Jack would like to meet Sara, too ;)]

"Anything moving in general is bad." Kim agrees. "And then people always seem to think that the morning after is the perfect time to talk."

[ooc: that's fine ;)]

"In an obnoxiously loud voice," she nods commiseratingly.

"Yes, loud voices are bad. I kind of hoped that since we were in a bar at the end of the universe being drunk would have no downside."

"There's always a catch. And some of the people here are decidedly nasty when they want to be. I had the misfortune of meeting a 17th-century british navy officer. Within two minutes, I wanted to rearrange his jawline."

"Really? The only 17th-century british navy officer I've met has been extremely polite."

"Have you met the pirate, Jack Sparrow? I was having a drink with him when the guy showed uo, making comments about diseased wenches and such. Levette, I think his name was."

Kim shakes her head to both. "I don't believe I've met them. Have you met lots of interesting people?"

"Hmmm....I've met several wizards, two gods, a faery, a trio of tricksters, a demon, a demon slayer, an air-force official..." She grins. "Yeah, it's been interesting."

Kim grins. "I haven't met any gods yet."
