A very cracky entrance post
omg Nita bling bling.
She enters through the lakeside door and snags a table and a soda, pulling off her grey sweatshirt to reveal a black T-shirt with the words "PLZ HELP I AM TRAPPED INNA BAR" in white on it. Hey, it's not her fault, she's getting all her clothes from the Bar. . .

She looks back at him. "I would just smash the thing, but there's the whole no violence in the Bar rule. It deserves to be gotten rid of, though -- Kim was really shook up."

She sighs, and her hands fall to her lap. "I bought her a little time, a month. Long enough for us to say goodbye. She died about three months ago." She shrugs. "You can see why I'd just as soon be at home right now."

"Oh Nita...I'm so sorry. Maybe I don't know exactly how it feels, but I do know what it's like to lose someone you love dearly, and that you tried so hard to save. And I can see how it would be hard for you to be separated from your family right now."

At the thought a chill runs through him. When he'd been addicted to heroin while he was undercover, he'd always been careful to use sterile needles that he'd provided himself, for his own safety, and all the blood tests his doctor had done when he'd gotten clean had come back negative. But even though he knows she's safe, the thought that if he hadn't been careful he could have gotten not only himself infected, but someone else, someone who saved his life... It sends a chill down his spine. Not for the first time he realizes exactly how stupid his drug use had been, even if it had been necessary for his cover.
"That doesn't exactly sound...safe."

She looks at the expression on his face, and frowns a bit. "Oh. That's not what you were thinking, huh."

"I've never really thought about it," she admits. "I haven't had to worry about it before." She's got her own secrets -- he doesn't need to know that she can count the number of major healings she done before coming here on one hand. "I'll have to check the manual. I mean, it's a healing spell -- it'd be sort of counterintuitive if it hurt the healer."
