Entrance Post

Thinking about Sara, Grissom hasn't noticed that he did not walk out of her apartment building. Gradually, the unfamiliar sights and sounds of his new environment permeate his mind.

He looks around, taking it in with an atypical expression of complete befuddlement.

"This is not Las Vegas," he finally says, needing to voice the thought.

"Right." She gives Grissom a sympathetic smile. "I'll talk her 'round to it, if she balks. Cocoa can do anything."

He chuckles. "Something that can change Sara's mind? Are you certain that is regular cocoa?"

"Hell no. It's Milliways cocoa. Regular cocoa can't even get you up in the morning." Ace retorts, grinning again.

He grins. "I'll take that as a warning then." He gives his glass of water a suspicious look. "Should I wonder about the water as well?"

"Duly noted." His tone is dry again. Taking a look at his watch, he bites off a curse--he's been here much longer than he expected. Not that he was truly expecting this.

He stands, giving Ace an apologetic grin. "It was a pleasure meeting you, and thank you for the help. I need to see about getting back to my world."

"Not a problem, Grissom. Have a good night." Ace gives him a cheery grin. Seems that not all the people from Sara's world are utter gits.
