Entrance Post
Thinking about Sara, Grissom hasn't noticed that he did not walk out of her apartment building. Gradually, the unfamiliar sights and sounds of his new environment permeate his mind.
He looks around, taking it in with an atypical expression of complete befuddlement.
"This is not Las Vegas," he finally says, needing to voice the thought.

thronechair, spots another newcomer. Still not the Doctor. Drat. Still, a newcomer, who looks very confused, poor chap. She waves in a friendly sort of manner, in case he feels the need to ask for help.no subject
However, he needs information. And she doesn't look psychotic. So he makes his way over to her.
"Um, hello, miss. I appear to be lost."

Bwah ha ha, the acting lessons are paying off...Ace blinks at the miss... it's been a rather long time since she's been called 'miss'. Usually, once they find out she's with the Doctor, it's 'hey you' or 'STOP!'. Very interesting.
"Welcome to Milliways, the bar at the end of the galaxy. I'm Ace, how'd'y do?" She offers Grissom her hand.

The shock is wearing off, and his scientific mind is now becoming engaged. "How is it possible for us to be here? How do we get here, for that matter?"

"Beats me chief, beats me chief, and I think some sort of inter-dimentional portals. In that order, if it helps." See Ace being helpful! Well no. She's just not so good on the how things work portion of life. She's more into the 'how things come apart during explosions' sort of thing.

He looks back at Ace. "I was looking for a col--a friend of mine. I don't know if she would be here, she certainly has never mentioned this place."
no subject
"Yeah? I might know her, I'm rather stuck here, and so I try to meet the regulars."

"And I would also appreciate it if nothing happened to Ecklie. I would be forced to investigate it, and my judgement could be compromised." He smiles though. This Ace does seem like a nice character.

"I think she's back in Vegas at this point. She had to get some things for a party a friend is holding tomorrow." She doesn't mention the party is being hosted by an archeologist adventurer and a giant turtle. She does know what mercy is, after all.

Experiences indeed. He could still remember the sick sense of helplessness when he saw Greg's unmoving body, the fierce rage when he saw Sara's injuries.
"Then I must have missed her. I left a message. I hope she will at least call." He raises an eyebrow at the mention of a party. Sara normally avoids such things.

No, it most crtainly is not. But it comes close in terms of scale and entertainment. Welcome to Milliways.... officer?
*It's a guess, but he walks like a cop, looks like a cop, and pays attention like a cop. So theres a good chance he is.*

Magic.

Got it in one. Actually, it's much more likely that the bringing people here and not beign destroyed are more a result of science so advanced it is indistinguishable from magic. So far, we have a lot of theories, but nothign concrete. And i doubt we will, unless someone actually manages to talk to the Landlord.
