She comes in through the lake door, dressed for riding and with her hair in a long braid down her back... and marsh violets woven into the braid.

As Susan Delgado goes to the bar, it's apparent that soon there will be hot chocolate, as well. Sometimes, it's the little things that bring contentment, say true.

She looks rather less surprised to hear this than one might think.

He laughs. "That's an understatement."

He reaches for his crutches. "But I really gotta go get something from my sister's house. It was great speaking to you." He smiles. "I've got so many questions and not enough time to ask them."

He pushes himself up and places the crutches under his arms. "But we should definitely speak later."

"We're well-met, I think."

Susan smiles at him.

"Go yer way in peace, sai, and I'll see ye at another time, then."

And with that, he hobbles away.
