Virginia was humming slightly to herself, and looking through her wedding magazines. She looked up every so often to make sure that no one was coming after her.

She didn't care what Wolf said. She wasn't going to be paranoid. She wasn't going to hide. She was going to live her life, deranged weirdos or not.

She was, however, going to be careful, and aware of her surroundings.

Which, honestly, wasn't much different from what a single woman had to do in New York, biking to and from work alone and all.

I...he and I share some similarities. And I've named him 'brother' in my eyes. He's a wonderful man and I've told him that if he needs me to do anything, I'd do it for him. I...hope you won't be offended if I extend the promise to you as well..."

"I...I wouldn't be at all," Virginia said, somewhat breathlessly, and shed looked quite touched.

She nodded to the seat across from her. "Join me. How's C'Nedra? Still nagging about babies?"

*he sits and smiles*

She's very well. We've...discussed things and the issue is settled for now. Now she's just wild about the fact that I'm finally employed. Says she might actually come down soon.

*he grins*

"Why wouldn't she come down before then?" Virginia asked. "People are awfully nice here."

*he looks a bit sheepish*

No dress. She walked in in a nightgown by chance and I made a fuss and since I made a fuss she decided to get huffy about it and not come down till I had something proper for her.

*he shrugs*

Virginia laughed. "Honey, you can just ask the bar for a dress for her, you know. It'll put it on your tab."

*he sighs*

She's Tolnedran.

"...Which meeeans?" Virginia prompted, completely perplexed and not afraid to show it.

Which means that a major concern for her is money. The idea of spending money that she doesn't have bothers her. Considering that she's a princess, you'd be amazed how fiscally concerned she is about things.

"...How much does a single dress cost?" Virginia asked, her eyes wide. "What, is she trying to buy Gucci?"

*he blinks at her*

That sounds like some sort of Thullish side dish.

"And that word sounds like a fabric you'd use to make a cheap prom dress," Virginia commented.

What's a prom?

"It's a dance thing that kids go to at a certain point in school. They wear ugly dresses in bright colors with ugly sequins and glittery things on them and there's bad music and the guys all try to sleep with their prom dates that night," Virginia explained.

Sleep with?

*oh gods, don't break his brain...please*

"...Um, consumate a marriage without being married," she explained, cringing slightly for his sake. "It's generally...okay, if a man of woman love each other very much, like Wolf and I do? In my world it's generally seen as okay if they...do that before marriage. Personal opinion tends to vary, but yeah. But a lot of teens are dumb and think they're old enough for that when they aren't. Because they're probably not much older than you but they're babied and whiny, so they really aren't grown up untilt hey hit their twenties."

Brain: Shattering noise.

*he stares*

You...intend to marry?

"Well, Wolf and I do, definitely. Some people...do it when they don't intend to. Which is stupid. Because you should either be married or itend to marry if you're going to do something like that, I personally think," Virginia said.
