Elaine doesn't want to have seen what she saw last night.
Not that place. Not her friend.
She hasn't been able to move since, and she's still shaking a little.
Not that place. Not her friend.
Elaine is sitting in a chair, knees to chest, bottle of beer in hand. It's the first one of the day, so no worries there.
She's not been back to her room, and she's not eaten anything today, either.
She might be afraid to close her eyes.

"The door opened to hell?"

This makes her nightmare seem like child's play.

And for the first time since she's come to Milliways, she says in a small, small voice, "I want to go home."

She puts it around Elaine's shoulders, feeling even more awkward and wishing that Tony or Jack or anyone who was better at this kind of thing was here.

Then, remembering something, she pinches her nose. "I never went back to my room. Ryan might be looking for me."
Although she's not sure at all that she wants him to see her like this. This is probably the worst she's been since her nightmares ended.

Talking to someone has helped, though. She's beginning to shiver a little less.
"I wish I had not." She rubs her eyes. "I think...I think there are some people going after her."

She finally uncurls herself a little, placing her feet on the floor and folding her arms on the table so she can rest her head down on them.
She is just so tired.

Now, for some reason, she wasn't quite so sure. "I don't know," she says.

Her eyes have been closed for a lot longer than a blink. "I know," she mumbles faintly. "I think I'm just..."
Asleep.

"disappointed. sorry," she mumbles. Yes, she's already dreaming.
